Electric shock and its consequences

When it comes to electricity, you need to know the basic safety rules: the first current conductor is metal and water. When using electrical appliances, wipe your hands dry. Now in fashion metal appliances, microwave oven, electric kettle, pressure cooker, etc. If you bought a similar technique, first make sure that it is working and without factory defects. Only after that you can use it in everyday life. Since if this equipment is faulty, you may be exposed to electric shock! Also, one should not forget the fact that any electrical appliance can fail. Take, for example, a washing machine. Each of us saw an advertisement, when the washing machine, which is unusable, stands in a pool of water. If you are in a similar situation, do not immediately run to the typewriter and put your hands up! It can end much more sadly than just a broken household appliance. To start, you need to disconnect it from the electrical network, and then watch what the problem is!

You also need to take into account that in every family there are children or they will be. First of all, you need to limit the access to the outlets as much as possible and put the stubs. It is difficult for a child to explain that electricity is dangerous. The electric shock affects the human nervous system, even the most harmless discharge. And if you take into account the fact that the nervous system in children is constantly evolving, then the shock affects the power and leaves consequences.

The impact of electric shock can have such: an increase in internal pressure, and the higher the voltage, the higher the internal pressure. For this reason, after an electric shock has occurred, the victim may have blood from the nose and mouth. Also, the victim may have foam on his lips. Sometimes there is a stiffening of the respiratory tract (the person starts to choke), and even the stop of breathing. There is a defeat of soft tissues (burns), as well as their complete combustion. Electric shock causes damage not only to external tissues, but also to internal organs. First of all, the heart suffers, as the rhythm of the heartbeat can increase, so it will slow down, or the organ will stop altogether. As a result of electric shock, arrhythmia and other cardiovascular diseases may occur.

First aid to the victim of electric shock

If a person is electrocuted, the power supply should be disconnected as soon as possible. But at the same time be careful not to fall under the influence of current yourself. Turn off the power switch if it is nearby. If the switch does not turn out, you can release the victim with a wooden bar or just a board, stick, but make sure that they are dry enough to protect you from the effects of electric current. You can also use plastic items, cellophane bag and rubber. After you have released the victim from the effects of electric current, you need to provide first aid. If the victim is unconscious and blood from the nose or foam from the mouth is released, it is necessary to release his respiratory tract.

Put the victim on his side so that blood or foam comes out, and not collected in the airways. Check for pulse and breathing, if they are not present, artificial respiration should be done . Artificial breathing should be done until the victim can not breathe on his own or until a medical worker arrives.
