It does not require special ingredients and skills, which means that even a beginner mistress can easily bake this tasty treat without much effort. "Black Prince" - a cake that will not leave anyone indifferent. It will become a real decoration of your table. There are more than one dozen recipes for this dessert, but I want to offer you the most popular and tried.

Cake "Black Prince"

Ingredients. For the test: flour (about 3 cups), sour cream (2 cups), sugar (1.5-2 cups), several spoons of cocoa, eggs (4 pcs), soda vinegar (2 tsp), salt. In the dough, also, you can add vanilla sugar, a little cognac, walnuts and prunes.

For cream: oil (250 g), condensed milk (2 cans), at the request of cocoa.

For the glaze: sugar (2 tablespoons), milk (5 tablespoons), butter (50 g), cocoa (1 tablespoon).

Preparation. We take a deep bowl, sift the flour into it. To the flour add cocoa, salt, slaked soda and mix. Prunes are poured with boiling water and leave for 10 minutes. Drain and cut into small pieces. Walnuts slightly fry in a pan or in an oven, grind. Add nuts and prunes to the flour, here we put sour cream. All mix.

From the eggs we separate the yolks, pour a glass of sugar into them and beat them. The resulting mass is placed in a bowl with flour. Separately whisk the remaining proteins, gradually adding sugar to them. Carefully lay out the resulting protein foam in a bowl with a dough, all mixed with a spoon, so as not to damage the airy protein mass. After adding all the ingredients, you should get a dough that resembles thick sour cream, which must be divided into two equal parts.

Forms in which cakes will be baked, we cover with baking paper, smeared with vegetable oil, we pour in dough. We send the molds to the oven and bake cakes for about half an hour at 200 degrees. Each cake after baking is cut into two parts, so that in the end four cakes are obtained.

Cake The black prince is smeared with a cream of butter and condensed milk. To do this, soften the butter and grate it with condensed milk, if desired, add a few spoons of cocoa. Ready cream put in a cold place for 30-60 minutes.

To prepare the glaze, pour the milk into a saucepan, add sugar, cocoa and mix thoroughly. We put the resulting mass on a small fire and cook until the glaze begins to thicken. Do not forget to stir at the same time. We remove the mass from the fire and add melted butter to it, mix everything well.

After the cakes have been smeared with cream, water the black prince cake with hot glaze, and after cooling we send it to the refrigerator for a few hours.

You can decorate the cake from above with chocolate figurines. To do this, melt the chocolate bar and draw a culinary syringe on the parchment of the necessary figures. After that, put the sheet in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to freeze the chocolate. With the help of a knife, we remove ready-made figures from paper and decorate the cake.

In a bowl for mixing the dough, put one glass of flour, sour cream, sugar, add two eggs, a teaspoon of soda and a few spoons of cocoa powder. We knead the dough - homogeneous, without lumps, reminiscent of the consistency of thick sour cream. Pour the dough into a baking dish, previously smeared with butter. We send the form to a preheated oven and bake the cake for about 20 minutes. The recommended temperature for baking is 200 degrees. When the edges of the cake begin to lag behind the shape, and the toothpick remains dry after piercing, it can be removed.

If desired, the pie can be poured with the same glaze as the cake "Black Prince".
