Dutch rose - a flower for everyone
"There is no more charming creation of nature, serving as a clear expression of the feelings of the giver." A slender stem, crowned with a fragrant beautiful flower, will tell of the fervor of love spells and the inevitable cooling of them in the stream of time. "The thorns remind us of the boldness of the deed of souls banished from Paradise." This ancient legend tells of the origin of the first spines that arose immediately after the fall of the first beloved couple. A smooth stalk without thorns testifies to virtue. And yet the most convincing component of the flower is the color of the buds.
A Dutch rose can be grown both from the seedling and from the cuttings. Here we are faced with a classic choice between simplicity and cost. Saplings are more expensive, but growing from a cut is more difficult. Pay attention to the cheaper way.
First of all visit the flower shop and buy there strong and beautiful Dutch roses, the price in this case does not matter, because then grow their own flowers. Choose only the freshest plants. The Dutch rose, grown with the help of propagation by cuttings, is called the root crop. Its growth is organized exclusively in conditions of enclosed soil. Well fit winter garden, apartment or greenhouse.
Bought the raw material must immediately begin to prepare for cuttings. The middle part of the plant should be divided into cuttings measuring 12-15 cm. It should be ensured that each stem has 2-3 kidneys. The upper cut is made not more than half a centimeter from the kidney. It should have straight and level edges. Cut the thorns and remove most of the leaves: from the bottom - completely, and leave one third of them from above, then carefully trim the upper cut with greenery. After trimming the stem at an angle of 45 degrees, a portion of the skin of the incision region must be removed. Prepared cuttings are placed in a special preparation, which is not difficult to get in any pharmacy. In the absence of such cuttings can be immersed in aloe juice.
The cuttings, which stood for 12 hours, are planted in prepared soil (up to 2 cm deep) under a three-centimeter layer of sand. Sprouts watered with warm water and covered with cut plastic bottles (without a bottom). Through the neck of such a protective frame it will be very convenient to water Dutch roses.
