Dalacin: instructions for use

Today it is impossible to imagine our life without antibiotics. Every year new and new types of these medicines appear, because microorganisms that cause a variety of diseases quickly get used to the action of antibiotics. That is why it is not recommended to abuse them, take them often, without the appointment of a doctor. This applies to all drugs, including the described.

"Dalatsin," the instructions clearly state this information, refers to the group of lincosamides. This means that the drug is particularly effective against staphylococci, suspends the vital activity and reproduction of streptococci, pneumococci, suppresses the process of protein synthesis in aerobic (not needing access to oxygen) non-spore-forming microorganisms. Dalatsin is active in relation to the simplest: some types of pneumocysts, mycoplasmas, toxoplasm.

The action of the preparation "Dalacin", the instruction indicates this, is similar to the action of the more known antibiotic "Lincomycin", whose semisynthetic analogue it is. However, "Clindamycin" (this is the international name of the drug) is characterized by higher antimicrobial activity than "Lincomycin". That is why in many European countries it practically replaced the latter.

"Dalatsin" (tablets) is well absorbed. In bile, bones, respiratory organs, joints, appendix, fallopian tubes, saliva, high concentrations of active substance are created. This drug does not penetrate into the cerebrospinal fluid.

The drug is excreted from the body with urine, but does not give in to dialysis.

For treatment of female infections, the ointment "Dalacin" or vaginal suppositories "Dalacin" is most often prescribed. The drug (1 cilantro or 1 dose of cream) is administered at night, before bedtime. The course of treatment usually lasts three days. At this time, women are encouraged to use condoms with extreme caution, because the antibiotic can break the strength of these products. It is advisable to abandon intimacy during the three-day course of treatment.

If the antibiotic is intolerant and the drug is not prescribed in the first trimester of pregnancy.

Depending on the severity of the infection, a gynecologist may prescribe a pill or an injection of Clindamycin in addition to suppositories or suppositories.
