Crochet with beads: a master class for beginners

Working with beads, many craftsmen probably faced the need to create a dense and wide bundle. There are several ways to weave it, and knitting a crocheted bead is one of the easiest and fastest.

Which material to choose

Among the huge assortment of beads offered by manufacturers, there are products of very different quality. Some species are characterized by high strength plastic or glass, color fastness and, most importantly, the same shape and size of all elements. Their price is quite high, but many skilled workers recognize it as justified.

Other species are uneven and unequal beads, the cost of which is much lower. However, their use for the manufacture of products with clear contours is not recommended. Such objects, as a rule, are based on geometrically correct forms, and for their weaving a certain number of beads is needed. Using unequal elements makes it impossible to create clear lines and silhouettes.

Crochet crochet with beads in a spiral applies to the category of work for which compliance with the specified parameters is extremely important. One should not allow the diameter of the bundle to be uneven and the pattern to be distorted, so the best choice is a Czech calibrated bead. The size can be different, for example 8/0 fits very well. This parameter specifies how many beads threaded on the thread have a length of one centimeter.

Directly crocheting will require the use of a strong cotton thread (iris or other fine mercerized cotton) and hooks No. 1 or No. 1.5.

Bead Set

In order to make a tourniquet, you should dial the beads on the thread. For training, 30-40 centimeters can be enough, but to create high-grade products, the length of the filament for the set needs to be calculated. This is helped by the size of the beads indicated on the package. For example, to make a rope, 50 cm long from beads 8 \ 0, you need to dial beads on a thread 50х8 = 400 cm long.

If you work on a single-color product, there will not be any difficulties with typing. However, if crochet beads are used to make a harness with an ornament, the correct set is of decisive importance for the successful implementation of the zadumok masters. The sequence of stringed beads is recognized by special schemes. Their observance guarantees the formation of a planned pattern.

Secrets of easy recruitment

Selling a relatively thick thread for knitting in the narrow eye of a bead needle is quite problematic. You can solve this problem in two ways:

  1. Pass the two ends of a small piece of thin line into the eye of the needle, leaving the loop on the back side. In this loop, you need to pass the thread for knitting, and then drag through the ear a fishing line along with the billet folded in half and continue to crochet with beads according to the scheme. If this method does not work, you should use the following.
  2. Bind the end of the knitting thread to the end of a very thin thread or line. However, it should be connected so that the knot was formed only by a thin thread, otherwise it will not pass into the eyelet. Also, the method of forming the loops from both strands is effective, as shown in the figure.

Stringing beads on a thin thread, it can easily be moved to a thicker.

Further instructions for creating a bead of beads will be illustrated by a master class on knitting.

Formation of the first row

In general, knitting is the same as simple knitting in a circle with no crocheted or half-crocheted stitches. Only here you need to pick up a bead and knit each bar so that it remains outside the harness.

First you need to make the first air loop and fix it on the hook, then move the bead to the hook and for the next air loop grab the thread behind the bead. Thus, the number of air loops that is needed to form one row is accumulated, this number is usually indicated in the upper right corner of the circuit.

For example, you need six loops, the seventh one is done without beads, the hook starts under the thread of the first loop and the half-loop closes the chain into the ring.

Crochet with beads harness necessary length

The further work consists in consecutive execution of columns without a crochet with tightening and fixing of each bead. It is important to observe the specified number of loops in a row (in this case six), as well as the distribution of colors. If an error is found, the crochet must be disbanded until the time when everything matches the pattern and is bandaged.

Important advice: when forming columns without a crochet hook should be wound up for the inner "pigtail" of the previous column. In this case, the thread is in front of the bead, that is, knitting occurs in the inner surface of the bundle, and the beads must remain outside.

If all the actions are performed correctly, the beads should turn upside down. They rotate when tying the next row, so when inspecting the bundle you can see that the beads of the last row are turned with holes in the side. This will change when their series becomes the basis for the next.

In the end, we get such a tourniquet.

Color Bead Options

To obtain a beautiful bundle with a gradient color transition, the wizards use a very simple method: apply a transparent bead and a melange thread.

Making ornaments of any degree of complexity becomes possible if you master the elementary crochet with beads. Schemes of many interesting patterns include two or more contrasting colors of beads.

You can experiment not only with the color, but also with the texture of the material. Using beads of different sizes allows you to get a three-dimensional, relief ornament. Known is the so-called "blind" set, in which threads are mixed with different colors on the thread. Ready-made tourniquets come out variegated or melange, depending on the contrast of the materials used.

The described master class on crochet crochet knitting is universal. This is the basis for the formation of any color or monochrome product.
