Dual-core processors operate in a temperature mode five degrees higher.

Although there are exceptions. Studying this question, I decided to find out what the critical temperature of the intel processor is. Measuring the temperature of the processor using a special program, to my surprise (and frustration) found out that the "brains" of my computer operate at temperatures from 55 to 80 degrees. In light of the foregoing, it should be noted that, nevertheless, sometimes it is necessary to carry out preventive measures to protect the computer (laptop) from overheating. To do this, it is enough to clean the CPU cooling fan and radiator. After all, when they are clogged with dust and clogged, the heat transfer of the system deteriorates, which entails its overheating, protection triggering, and performance degradation.

The condition of the thermal paste also requires periodic inspection - its drying leads to unfortunate consequences. If the fan still emits various noises after cleaning, the procedure should be repeated and, if possible, lubricate its bearing (bushing) with a droplet of engine oil. It is necessary to ensure that the ventilation openings of the computer (laptop) are not closed by anything, which would prevent free access to fresh air.

In order to trace the critical temperature of the processor, it is necessary to simultaneously run the program and boot testing the processor to observe the readings. This is the critical temperature at which protection of the system is configured. From the producer's point of view, this is the maximum temperature value for this type of processor.
