Technology trenchless construction of engineering lines replaced the outdated method of digging trenches. HDD HDD method

HDD puncture is the process of trenchless laying of various communications without destroying the pavement and the natural landscape. The method of controlled puncture allows drilling wells up to 50 meters and laying pipes with a diameter of up to 400 mm.

Before starting construction work, specialists should analyze the presence of groundwater, study the properties and composition of the soil, as well as other geophysical factors. The HDD puncture process begins with the drilling of a pilot well, then it extends to the desired diameter. The installation operator is able to monitor the drill head and set the required angle of inclination, which allows to bypass existing underground communications and other obstacles. After the completion of the drilling, specialists extend the pipeline through the tunnel, fix the created system and beautify the territory.

Rational way of pipeline laying

Trenchless technologies for laying pipelines have become very popular . The methods of horizontal drilling, puncture and microtunneling have a number of advantages. Thanks to the use of productive equipment, the speed of construction increases, the number of necessary personnel, the amount of preliminary work and the number of mandatory documentation are reduced.

Trenchless laying of pipelines with modern methods does not require the implementation of excavation and associated works, does not limit the movement of vehicles and pedestrians in the construction zone, does not damage sidewalks and roads, which allows to save money significantly (up to 50% of the project cost). At the organization of works the small-sized installation that allows to make a laying of pipes from small foundation pits is applied.

Installation of horizontal drilling is a high-performance and powerful technique, while it is fairly simple to operate. The equipment allows laying pipelines for various purposes - sewerage systems, water, gas, oil pipelines, heating networks and various types of cables (electrical, telephone, fiber-optic). Even in difficult working conditions, the technician quickly copes with the tasks set.

All important drilling parameters can be set before starting work. During the process, the operator can correct the data and monitor the proper construction of the sewage system, which allows for timely response to the difficulties encountered.

Peculiarities of external piping laying

Wastewater and water supply systems are constructed using pressure or gravity pipelines made of various materials. For the purpose of economy and for the possibility of carrying out a routine inspection or repair, the network of external pipelines should be located expediently. For this pipe should be stretched along the shortest path, with a minimum number of intersections of artificial structures.

External pipelines are exposed to significant pressures, are corroded and undergo heating and cooling. For the installation works, the construction organization can proceed only after obtaining all the necessary permits. The assembly is done by enlarged sections or blocks, which makes the process of assembling, welding, cutting and fitting the pipes very laborious. Therefore, the laying of the pipeline network implies the participation of skilled masters and the use of various units, specialized equipment.
