'Concor': analogues, recommendations, warnings

"Concor" is an adrenoblocking drug that affects the peripheral nervous system. It is prescribed for high blood pressure, chronic heart failure, angina pectoris. The active substance of "Concor" is bisoprolol. Assign the medication once a day, on an empty stomach. If the average dose of 2.5 mg does not help, in agreement with the attending physician, it can be increased.

The drug is not cheap. Its price ranges from 150 to 500 rubles , depending on the number of tablets in the package and the region. Therefore, the attending physician or pharmacists can offer medications that are analogous to this drug.

"Concor", analogues of which are somewhat cheaper, are produced in Germany.

"Bidop" costs about 100 rubles, is made in Ireland. Just like Concor, the drug is contraindicated in pregnant and lactating women.

"Bisocardium" is produced in Poland, this drug, just like the German "Bissogamma" cost about 170 rubles.

How to replace "Concor" yet?

To the analogues of the medicine are "Bisoprolol", "Coronale", "Niperten".

"Concor", analogues of the drug should be used with extreme caution and only on the recommendation of a cardiologist. Differently affecting the peripheral nervous system, it can cause a variety of side effects.

After taking the drug (its analogues act the same way), you may experience a sharp dizziness, headache. There have been cases of hallucinations, but more often patients complain of severe fatigue after taking the medication.

"Concor", analogues of this medicine can cause a sharp drop in pressure, the development of bradycardia. Possible development of dyspnea.

From the side of the eyes, complications are also possible: a decrease in teardrop, conjunctivitis.

"Concor" (a substitute for it acts in the same way), can exert a depressing effect on the potency, provoke a general muscle weakness. Often it causes redness and burning sensation in the skin.

The drug is categorically contraindicated in patients with shock, people with bradycardia, psoriasis, arterial hypotension, pheochromocyte, bronchial asthma.

The inevitable question arises: is it worthwhile to use this medicine at all, if it has so many adverse side effects and contraindications?

The answer is simple. That, to appoint or not to appoint a specific drug, only the patient who observes the patient after a full and thorough examination decides. If the benefits that can be obtained from taking the drug are significantly greater than the harm from side effects, then "Concor", its analogs are assigned to reception. However, treatment should be carried out under the strict supervision of the cardiologist.

Usually the drug is not prescribed together with antihypertensive medications: their joint action can accelerate a sharp decrease in pressure, cause bronchospasm.

The wrong chosen dose, leading to an overdose, causes bradycardia, loss of consciousness, dizziness, hallucinations.

But despite such serious warnings, reviews of specialists and patients indicate that Concor is a good aid for a variety of diseases. It improves the functioning of the heart, prevents complications after myocarditis, pericarditis, endocarditis.

Sometimes, as a result of some autoimmune diseases (for example, arthritis, lupus erythematosus) angina may occur. To prevent the consequences of these diseases, doctors also use Concor.

The medicine, acting on the sinus node, normalizes the heart rate, prevents or stops the arrhythmia. Due to the influence on the nervous system, "Concor" reduces pressure, improves the rate of contractility of the myocardium, improves the supply of cardiac muscle with oxygen.

Use "Concor", like its analogs, can only be recommended by a doctor.
