Characteristic symptoms of AIDS in men

AIDS is the final stage of HIV (human immunodeficiency virus). According to statistics, the number of people infected worldwide is growing daily. AIDS does not kill a person. It causes irreparable damage to our immune system. And this means that the human body can not cope with any infection, and the usual ARVI can lead to a fatal outcome. How this disease develops, and what are the symptoms of AIDS in men and women - we will consider in this article.

What is HIV, and why does it become AIDS?

The human immunodeficiency virus is the most insidious infection, since when it enters the human body it does not cause any symptoms and signs. The only way to detect it is an HIV test. The virus can live in the body absolutely imperceptibly for 10-12 years, while destroying the immune system. The apogee or the last stage of destruction is the vulnerability of the body and the inability to resist even elementary microbes and infections. At the moment, medicine does not know how to defeat HIV, but with timely medical intervention, it is possible to "push back" the dangerous stage of AIDS.

Common symptoms of AIDS

The symptoms of AIDS in men and women are somewhat different, despite the fact that in both cases the goal of the immunodeficiency virus is immunity. The course of the disease in women is faster, and earlier complications occur even with a low level of the virus. The symptoms of AIDS in men and women are opportunistic, as the healthy immune system is not affected by the infections that cause the infected reaction. Common signs of AIDS include the following symptoms:
• constant chills and fever;
Sweating, especially pronounced at night;
Swollen lymph glands;
• weakness, fatigue;
• causeless weight loss.

Symptoms of AIDS in men

As mentioned earlier, the signs of AIDS in men differ from those of women. There are five main manifestations:
1. In the early stages of infection with the immunodeficiency virus, there is almost always a very long fever (from 14 to 28 days). The human body temperature rises substantially (to 38-39 degrees). The general condition will be a suspicion of a normal respiratory disease. However, the medicines that are used in the treatment of these will be absolutely useless.
2. Constant headache in sensations will be similar to pain for colds.
3. The appearance of a rash on the body of a man occurs about a month or a half after infection. Rashes can be on any part of the body. Similar symptoms of AIDS in men (photo on the left) may appear for a while, and then disappear without a trace.
4. Increased fatigue, decreased or no appetite, weight loss. All of the above factors, many people are accustomed to write off on nedosyp, depression, heavy workloads and so on.
5. Frequent diseases. If a man has another disease for several months, then it's time to see a doctor - these can be the symptoms of AIDS in men.
6. Enlargement of lymph nodes can occur on any part of the body. Painful sensations are completely absent.
