Cervical dysplasia: treatment.

The disease called "cervical dysplasia" causes structural changes in the structure of the mucous membrane.

Causes of the disease

Quite often dysplasia of the cervix, which should be treated immediately, occurs in women for the following reasons:

  • If a young lady has several children. The fact is that during labor, the cervix carries a huge number of injuries. This can cause this disease;

  • Long-term use of contraceptive pills (more than five years). In this case, the ailment results from a violation of the normal production of female hormones;

  • If the family has blood relatives who have had oncological diseases;

  • Often in the diagnosis of cervical dysplasia, treatment is required for women who abuse smoking;

  • Early onset of sexual intercourse;

  • If a woman often has sex partners or is constantly susceptible to a cancer of the head of the penis;

  • With neglect of the basic rules of hygiene.

There are three phases of dysplasia.

1 degree. Affected cells penetrate deep into the mucosa by 1/3 of the entire thickness. In this case, an independent cure is possible with a probability of 70-90%.

2 degree. Atypical cells take 2/3 of the thickness of the mucosa. In 50% of cases, the ailment passes by itself. Every fifth woman has a transition to the third stage, in which cancer can often occur .

3 degree. Atypical cells occupy the entire surface of the cervix. In 50% of women, complete recovery is observed, in other situations dysplasia of the cervix of the third degree goes to cancer.

Symptoms of the disease

When the disease is not observed any obvious signs. However, the disease can progress on the background of colpitis or cervicita. It may cause itching, burning, unusual discharge.

Once the disease is identified, it is necessary to select methods of treatment on an individual basis. The choice should be based on certain indicators:

- degree of development of the disease,

- age of the patient,

- the presence of concomitant ailments.

In order to get rid of such a disease as dysplasia of the cervix, treatment should be carefully and very responsibly. The following methods of therapy exist:

  • Immunostimulating therapy involves the use of immunomodulators and interferons. These medications are used when the disease is extensive and its relapse is possible;

  • surgery. Can be conducted in several ways:

    - removal of an atypical site with the help of liquid carbon dioxide, and then getting rid of the affected area;

    - removal of the cervix entirely.

Treatment of cervical dysplasia in the early stages of the disease is possible and folk remedies.

Prepare a decoction of the following herbs: 3 spoons of calendula inflorescences, 3 tablespoons of rosehips (fruit), 2 spoons of licorice root, as much yarrow herb and inflorescence of the twig, 1 spoon of sweet clover and 3 spoons of nettle. Pour all ingredients with a glass of boiling water and insist half an hour. With the help of the resulting remedy, do during the day douching or enter a vaginally soaked swab for 60 minutes.

Fill the grass and flowers with a sunflower oil (unrefined). The resulting mixture is lowered for a while in a water bath and wait for the product to cool. In the evening and in the morning, lay wetted with a solution of tampons. Treatment involves prolonged use of decoction.

With the help of a vitex plant, you can restore the normal balance of female hormones. For this purpose, the infusion of the plant is used as a tea, which must be taken twice a day.

Dysplasia is determined in the early stages with the help of special tests. In time, the discovered disease is quite effective and is treated fairly quickly. Therefore, a woman is recommended to undergo a medical examination every 6 months.
