Born to fly can not crawl: truth or challenge?
The folk oral tradition, as it is commonly believed, embodies the wisdom of the ages, the wisdom of our ancestors, the experience of generations. We used to look at them as an immutable truth, well, or at least as something ironic and hiding the shortcomings of a person's life.
Everything flows, everything changes
However, changes in society stimulate us to reconsider some of the common truths inherent in the consciousness of our ancestors. A vivid example is a proverb that states that one who is predetermined to grovel, can not rise up. The laws of elementary logic state that in this case the converse is also true: a born fly can not crawl. But, of course, the essence of this proverb does not provide such an interpretation. This is only oxymoron, designed to emphasize the irrelevance of these words. Why? One can not but agree that most examples of folk wisdom have not lost their rational grain and are applicable in our time too. But specifically this formulation - born to fly can not crawl - perfectly shows the attitude of modern man to those elements of ancient stereotypes that set before our ancestors any framework that is unnecessary now.
In the change of time, words are lost
What is it about? It's about the fact that every person from birth is given a narrow range of opportunities, and to go beyond it is not given to anyone.
Pride that cuts the wings
It is by no means necessary to affirm that the conditions of modern life give us complete freedom of self-realization, but we can safely say that the goal of the existence of any civilization is precisely the opportunity to bestow on everyone who is a part of it the wings.
The indefatigability of the spirit is indispensable for the flight
As for that part of humanity (there is a hope that we are talking about the most part), which looks at things soberly and optimistically evaluates its own possibilities, then one can safely say that the proverb "born to crawl can not fly" is not about them . By and large, they have already taken off, because the awareness of their own potential, the impetus for its realization and the firm will that embodies this impulse in life are already wings themselves. However, one should always remember the words of the famous contemporary Russian poet and musician Zoya Yashchenko: "It's not so important that there are wings; It is important that they carry us. " That is, the life of a person who wants to fly should turn into an eternal overcoming of all those shackles that restrain his impulse. And then the words that the born to crawl do not know how to fly, will forever be lost under a hail of successful attempts of those who have dared with their hearts, are bold in spirit and sober with reason. In order to have a generous harvest, it is necessary to sow seedlings.
Freedom of personal development - freedom of spiritual flight
So can you say that in our time it is still worth talking about some sort of self-evident restrictions imposed on each of us at birth? Of course, everyone has their own conditions, but any person has the potential that allows him to turn the shackles of the situation and circumstances into a launching pad for the flight. That is to realize yourself as a unique person. And then those who say that a child is not allowed to crawl, will have to stop their grumbling and either forget about pride, or remain in exile in the free from the conventions of the heavens of the human spirit. Because a person always reaches out to a person, and talent, even if doomed to some kind of loneliness, will never really be one. Talent always exists for someone and incarnates with someone. Therefore, freedom of the spirit guarantees participation in something greater than just one person. And it is this "something" that leads all mankind forward, to the development of every part of it.
