BMW i1

Electric cars BMW opens the youngest model - i1. This car has not yet been put into mass production, but there is information that it should compete with Smart Fortwo from the American concern.

BMW i2

There are only rumors about this model at present. After the appearance on the Internet of the rendered images of the new concept from the Bavarians, experts concluded that we are in front of us a sample of the future serial BMW i2. Externally, the car has a great similarity with the older model i8. The pictures show that the car has a two-door coupe, so it should occupy a niche between i1 and minivan i3.

BMW i3

The first car is an electro series. It is a compact city minivan. The car body is made entirely of aluminum and carbon. Its mass is not more than 1300 kg. The electric motor has a capacity of 170 horsepower and a power reserve of one charge up to 160 kilometers. The car is perfect for urban conditions, but not for long journeys due to low power reserve. Official sales of i3 began in 2013. Almost immediately after the start of sales, the company announced a new version - i3 Coupe. This car is a hybrid of a minivan and a sports car. In the series, the new modification is currently not included.

BMW i4 and i5

BMW electromobiles are planned to occupy almost every class in the modern automobile market. This is indicated by their plans for the release of a sports coupe called i4. Most likely, the prototype will be a coupe of the BMW 4 Series.

I5 - full-size family sedan, which will be equipped with two variants of electric motors. A direct competitor of this model is the child of Tesla - Model X.

BMW i6

This car should occupy a niche of full-size crossovers in the market of electric cars. Not before 2020 - so they say about the date when the new electric car will be released. The BMW X6 will be the prototype for the creation of a new SUV.

BMW i8

The most expensive and most impressive car from the whole model range of electric cars is the i8 sport car. In mass production the car entered in 2014. It is a hybrid. It has 4 electric motors for each wheel with a total capacity of 150 horsepower. In addition, the coupe accelerates with a gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 170 horsepower. Electric BMW i8 in the body of the roadster went on sale a few months after the main model.

Children's electromobiles BMW

Children can feel themselves drivers of this BMW. Manufacturers produce electric children's cars in the bodies of various popular models (for example, coupe Z4, crossover X6 and so on).

Electric children can drive at speeds up to 5 km / h for 2-3 hours. During this time, the child will fully enjoy the management of this BMW, albeit in a reduced size. More expensive models have a full-fledged audio system.
