Black Lake (Zelenograd): we plan summer holidays

Black Lake (Zelenograd) is one of the few places in Moscow that is suitable for swimming. This unique pond is located in the 6th microdistrict of Moscow - Zelenograd. The shoreline of the lake is surrounded by forest plantations. This gives the local area a special comfort. Holidaymakers feel comfortable in the bosom of a virgin nature.

Although Zelenograd belongs to the administrative unit of Moscow, it is only possible to get to it through the entire Moscow region, beyond the ring road. To get to the Black Lake, you need to move away from Moscow at 37 km to the northwest.

Black Lake is often called a "natural oasis" in a dusty urbanized city. Coming closer to this territory, and really you do not believe that Moscow is not far from here. Zelenograd is the most landscaped district. This is indicated by its name and, of course, the local nature. Green forest plantations, brooks, rivers and other water bodies are found here everywhere.

Lake Black has an artificial origin. Earlier, in the first half of the 20th century, there was a peat quarry in these places. And the surrounding areas were swamped. Now there is a beautiful Black Lake (Zelenograd). Photos of this pond open all the charm of picturesque landscapes.

The pond has a peat bottom, because the waters are saturated with peat decompositions. It is because of this that it has a dark color. The people behind the lake have a name - Black, which is now considered its official. The reservoir is large enough, the area of the water "mirror" is 3 hectares.

Features

Many are frightened by the fact that the Black Lake (Zelenograd) has peat deposits on the bottom. However, despite this, it is recognized as favorable for bathing. This is evidenced by numerous studies of water that have been conducted in recent years. The water in the lake is clean, also there are a lot of fish here.

The beach is sandy, but its territory is small. Sand in the places intended for swimming was specially introduced. The main reason for this decision was that initially the entire coastline consisted of viscous silt. Even now, you can find places that look more like a swamp. Dresin is not there, but it's not recommended to depart far from the lake by yourself. In the forest are designated special routes - footpaths.

What awaits tourists on the lake?

The beach on the Black Lake is equipped with all the rules. There are playgrounds for children and sports, changing cabins, picnic areas. Also very nice is that the pond is surrounded by a beautiful scenic forest. The local surroundings are an excellent place for a family one-day holiday.

Planning your vacation, it is necessary to remember that in these places the infrastructure is poorly developed. There is no cafe, no entertainment, no other benefits of civilization, but this is what attracts Muscovites. Black Lake (Zelenograd) will allow holidaymakers to forget about the city's bustle for a long time and fully enjoy the virgin nature.

It is crowded at any time of the year. In summer people go here to swim and hide from the heat. In the autumn and spring, many holidaymakers who organize picnics. But in winter they come here to plunge into an ice hole.

Rescuers are constantly on duty at the lake. Entrance to the territory of the Black Lake is free. Because of this, there are always a lot of visitors, especially on weekends and holidays.

Fishing

The lake is a favorite place for lovers of quiet fishing. Here, in a small amount, there are carp, pike, perch and bulls (rotans). Fishermen come here for a year, especially popular for a pond for winter fishing.

To get to the Black Lake you can take the metro to the stop "Rechnoy Vokzal", and then go by bus, flight number 400 - the first stop after the entrance to Zelenograd.
