Bečići Beach, Montenegro: reviews, information, and tourist reviews

Travelers know perfectly well that the sea is different from the sea , and they choose not a specific place to rest, but those impressions that they would like to receive when they are there.

So, lovers of lying all day on the beach are expected on exotic islands. Here you can even not go to the bar for food or drinks - they will bring everything you need. For those who like to combine useful with beautiful, it is better to visit the beach of Becici, since such a rich holiday, as in Montenegro, few people offer. There is everything: water sports, beautiful coastline, mountains, ancient history, unusually picturesque landscapes, and delicious food.

Description of the beach

As you know, at the dawn of the twentieth century, people just started to enjoy water tourism, but already in 1935 Bečići beach (Montenegro) received Grand Prix in Paris as one of the best in Europe. So it is considered today.

Throughout 1950 meters, it changes - slightly dark sand on the northern tip of the coast turns into a golden one on the south. Along the surf there passes a strip of very small pebbles, in which children are especially fond of tinkering.

Beach in Becici (reviews of holidaymakers confirm this) has a number of advantages over other seacoasts in the same Montenegro and Europe:

  • Firstly, it is municipal, and therefore free even in those parts that belong to hotels;
  • Secondly, a gentle descent into the sea guarantees safety and a gradual increase in depth, which is especially important for travelers with children;
  • Thirdly, it is equipped with everything necessary - showers, cabanas, cafes, bars and toilets;
  • Fourth, it is constantly cleaned, so that the ecology and cleanliness here at the highest level;
  • Fifthly, it is wide enough so that everyone decides how to rest - rent a chaise longue and umbrella or lie on a towel near the water.

Among the minuses of this beach you can specify only that there are a lot of people in the season, but this is understandable, still the best in Europe. Comfort prices on the beach are quite acceptable - a chaise longue under the umbrella will cost 8 €, and a wide comfortable bed - at 20 €.

Since there are no shops on the coast, you should stock up on water and food in advance or buy everything you need in a cafe, but at different prices.

The best time for a relaxing holiday on the beach of Becici is June, as the main influx of tourists begins in July and falls only by the end of September.

Apartment Dukley

From the north side, the beach of Becici ends with a cape that divides the village from the town of Budva. It is completely built up by the Dukley Gardens 4 * hotel. If you look at it from the side of the sea, it is very similar to a rock with swallow's nests, but in reality it is full of lights and very cozy apartments. Each of them has a kitchen with a dining area, a living room, a bedroom and a comfortable terrace overlooking the sea.

The apartments are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable life: air conditioning, cable TV, LCD TV, Wi-Fi. There are dressing gowns, slippers, bath accessories, utensils and household appliances.

For those who prefer not to waste time preparing food, the hotel has a restaurant with a wide range of international and Mediterranean dishes.

Hotel Dukley Gardens 4 *, as noted by those who rested here, not only allows guests to feel comfortable here, but also their pets, whose accommodation in the apartments is absolutely free.

Hotels on the coast

Many customers, when booking rooms, choose hotels in Bečići (Montenegro) with a beach. They are located directly on the coast and therefore cost several times more, especially at the height of the season, but, as the travelers note, they are worth this money.

Especially popular, for example, is the hotel Splendid Conference & Spa Resort 5 *. More and more people prefer to spend their holidays with health care, so the spa hotels enjoy unchanged success.

At the guests' disposal is the Splendid Conference & Spa Resort 5 *:

  • Indoor pools with a system of water heating;

Villas on the coast

For those who prefer privacy, the best choice will be renting a house in close proximity to the coast. Beach Becici can offer a number of villas, accommodation in which will be a real treat, but they should be booked in advance.

For example, an old stone mansion with five bedrooms, well known to the local under the name "house with olive trees", is suitable for a large family or a company of up to 10 people.

In the courtyard of the house grows and fructifies a two-hundred-year-old olive tree, but apart from it, there is something to pay attention to:

  • A two-level courtyard with a dense greenery and a swimming pool;
  • 4 terraces for evening or daytime recreation, one of which is open (under the olive tree), and three covered with comfortable garden furniture;
  • Well-groomed garden, flower beds and lawns;
  • 2 fitted kitchens, 3 bathrooms;
  • Sun beds, barbecue area.

To the sea from the house with the olive is only about 300 m on the road past expensive hotels, in restaurants which can be eaten, if there is no desire to do cooking. As noted by those who rested here, this villa - the best option for a secluded holiday with the whole family, when apart from relatives, the sea and nature, there is no one nearby.

Hotels on the highway

Rafailovici is part of Becici, whose sandy beach is considered one of the best, although the sand and pebble part of the Arena is also in demand, especially in couples with children. To get pleasure from any corner of the coast in Montenegro you can, avoiding large expenses for housing. For example, hotels and apartments located across the road from the sea are much cheaper than those that stand on the shore.

In addition, all supermarkets, boutiques and markets are also located behind the highway, so willy-nilly it goes all, so why pay more?

And although the beach has to go for 10-15 minutes, the cost of housing from 20 € per day is very happy, as noted by travelers who lived in the apartments for the track.

Island of St. Stefan

For customers who choose a luxury vacation, the best option will be a hotel located on the island of St. Stefan. Once there was a fishing village, but today it is a hotel complex completely occupying the territory of the island.

It is connected with the coast by a sandy isthmus and until the middle of the 20th century, few knew about it, since the island was inhabited by fishing families. After the government of Yugoslavia bought it and turned it into an elite holiday destination, celebrities such as Sophia Loren and Kirk Douglas, Princess Margaret and Indira Gandhi, Claudia Schiffer and Sylvester Stallone, and many others rested here.

The island is only 6 km from Budva, and guests can relax on the coast not far from it, and visit the beach of Becici (Montenegro). For people active, the best part of it will be the western part of it.

Entertainment

Like all the best beaches, Becici offers its guests numerous entertainments, including:

  • water skiing;
  • Paragliding;
  • Walks on the yacht;
  • Beach Soccer;
  • Fishing, which will leave the best memories of yourself;
  • Catamaran riding;
  • Walking tours.

For those who like thrills, jumping on the bungee from the highest bridge in Europe and descending the mountain rivers will do.

Local kitchen

Beach Becici offers a huge selection of restaurants, cafes and just small trays with a takeaway food with dishes for every taste. The average price of lunch, consisting of the first, garnish, fish / meat and non-alcoholic beverage - 10 €. Given that the portions are very large, then one is enough to feed two adults.

The choice of customers here is French, local, Italian and international cuisine. Restaurants work on the principle of "until the last customer", so no one remains hungry.
