Assage Ventress - character of "Star Wars"

According to many Star Wars fans, Assage Ventress is a character with a very controversial story. Even as a child given to the training of the great Jedi, she became the strongest hunter after the heads. A difficult fate forced her to go to the dark side of power and take revenge on her offenders. Appearing in many episodes of the animated series and on the pages of comic books, she became a long-awaited character for Star Wars fans.

Small witch

Born in Dathomir in the clan of night sisters, Asajzhzh was separated from his mother. She was given up to be bred by a bounty hunter. Soon he was killed by pirates, and a little girl was noticed by a Jedi who came to protect the city. He drew attention to the fact that Ventress used "force", throwing off the attacking robber.

For many years Assage Ventress was brought up by a great master. During this time, she learned to control her power and own a light sword. She practiced with her mentor, joining in battles and defending the innocent.

Dark side

When in the next battle the master was shot in the back by the infamous pirate, Asazzh in anger dealt with the robber. This was the reason for her transition to the dark side. Ventress noticed that the thirst for revenge gives strength. Subsequently, a Jedi student learns to possess two swords and becomes a bounty hunter. Now Asagezh is known for his greedy motives and constantly growing malice.

In these difficult times, Ventress meets a new teacher - the sieve of Count Dooku. A former student of Master Yoda exposes her for show, arguing that the girl from childhood was a Sith disciple.

Meeting with Dooku

After the death of his teacher, Jedi Narek, Assage Ventress hunts commanders. In the conquered lands, Asajj built a huge castle, from where she managed her affairs. After meeting Dooku, she called herself a sieve. However, the former Jedi easily identified that her behavior was merely an imitation of the manifestation of the power of darkness. After a fleeting battle with Asajj, he takes her to his teacher Darth Sidious.

The proposal to destroy the Jedi Assage Ventress considered it an honor, because most of them renounced Kay Narek. One of the most difficult tasks, given Assai, was the destruction of Anakin Skywalker. So Sidious decided to test the strength of the young Jedi. In this battle, Ventress lost, falling from the roof of the temple of Massassi. From that moment she decided to become a student of Dooku. To prove her loyalty, she kidnaps Obi Wan Kenobi and imprisons her in the castle.

However, the Jedi uses force and escapes, taking with him the surviving Asajj's sword of Kaya Narek. Learning the true story of the fate of Ventress, Obi Wan thinks about drawing her to the bright side.

Betrayal

Sidious, fearing the growing strength of the witch, orders Dooku to destroy his apprentice. However, Assage Ventress survived after the shelling of its ship and went to Datomir to the family - Sisters of the Night. In collusion with the sisters of the clan, she prepared a plan for revenge for the dark lord.

Asajzh planned an attack on Dooku. Together with Karis and Nalet, she sneaked into his ship, poisoned and weakened the former teacher. However, the dark lord managed to overcome invisible opponents. In search of a Ventress replacement, he turns to Mother Talsin, the leader of the Dathomir witches. She offers Dooku one of the brothers of the night - Savage of Oppress.

Thus, an attack on the Lord of the Sith was planned. In memory of the Press, the task was sealed-to kill Dooku. Asajzh, without wasting time, penetrated his ship and awakened the mission sealed in Savvaz's mind. However, the Sith struck Savage's pride, and he attacked both at once. Another attempt to kill the dark lord failed.

For Asajj Ventress, star wars were just a pretext for revenge for those who betrayed it.

The life of a mercenary

Becoming a full-fledged sister of the night, Ventress refused to take revenge on Dooku. However, the lord did not hesitate to reply and invaded Dathomir, destroying almost the whole Sister of the Night clan. After many years of wanderings Asajzh for unknown reasons returns to the service to Dooku. She was made a cyborg, even more devoted and merciless. In the Battle of Bo-Piti, Asajj lost a lot of strength and was betrayed to Dooku for the second time. He considered the witch a useless loser and ordered her to be killed.

Obi-Wan found wounded and exhausted Asajj. Even lying down, she tried to kill him. After an unsuccessful attempt to return Ventress to the light, Anakin struck her with a sword. Before death, the witch warned that it was necessary to defend Coruscant - this was the key to victory in the war with the Confederation.

Kenobi took Asajj to his ship to be buried with honors. Once safe, the witch used the Deception of Mind and forced the pilots to fly away from the bored war, the Jedi and the Sith.

Contradictions in the sources

Attentive fans note that in the "Star Wars" Assage Ventress came in as a character with a controversial fate. Many sources describe certain events of Asajzh's life in different ways. For example, in the animated series "Clone Wars" Ventress as the first task gets an order to kill Anakin. However, in the comic book "Jedi: Mace Windu", she, under the leadership of Dooku, is trying to destroy a group of Jedi on Ruul.

There is an assumption that after the death of Narek Asajzh began to fight with two swords - his and Kaya. Dooku destroys both weapons when he meets a witch. In the comic "Republic: Hatred and Fear" Obi Van steals Narek's sword unscathed.

Contrary to the story line of the book "Yoda: a meeting with the darkness", the animated series "The Clone Wars" tells that Asajzh became Sister of the Night long before the end of the war. Before the release of the series it was believed that Ventress belongs to the race of ratataks. However, in the series she appears as a Dathomir witch.

Assault Ventress: swords

The first sword Asajzh received in childhood - from the bounty hunter. They used it to the death of their mentor Kai Narek. Then she bought double swords that served her until she met Dooku. Destroying its old weapons, the dark lord gives Ventress the connecting lightsabers, which could be used as a double-sided staff. Also they could be fastened with a cable, which increased the effectiveness of combat.

The new light saber Asajj Ventress appeared after the Padawan Barris Ofpi stole the gift to Dooku. She used it before the end of her career as a bounty hunter. The weapon was purchased on the black market and had a standard cylindrical shape. The plasma blade radiated a yellowish light.

Asajzh can be described as the most independent character of "Star Wars". Referring to the help of various masters, she was able to combine many positive and negative features. Constantly being in the center of events, Asajj got acquainted with the great warriors, learned to fight with her fears and gained unprecedented power.
