Ascorutin: instructions, properties of the drug, reception rules

The drug "Ascorutin" is a drug with angioprotective properties. It improves microcirculation, normalizes metabolic processes in the walls of blood vessels and reduces their permeability. Askorutin, the instruction to which contains a detailed description of its properties, is issued in a tablet form. Each tablet contains 50 mg of rutin (active ingredient - rutozide) and ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Combining routine in one preparation with vitamin C is not an accident: they together participate in redox processes that take place in the body.

Rutin is the general name of a group of vegetable substances (there are more than one and a half thousand of them), previously united by the term "vitamin R". Currently they are classified as flavonoids. Rutin is not produced by the body on its own, therefore it is necessary to receive it from the outside. In nature, it is found in some plants - for example, in leaves of rue fragrant. To obtain it on an industrial scale, use the green mass of buckwheat and kidney flowers of Japanese Sophora. In addition to the preparation "Ascorutin", the instruction to which lists the indications for its use in detail, rutin is a part of the same tablets and gel for external application "Venoruton".

The lack of routine in the body is manifested by small, point-like hemorrhages - petechiae (including the retina), arising from the fragility of the capillaries. In addition, chronic fatigue, leg pain arising during walking, and acne and bleeding gums can speak about his lack . Regular reception of the drug "Ascorutin" (the instruction says about it) brings a noticeable effect: the walls of the capillaries are strengthened, their fragility decreases. In addition, this drug promotes vasodilation, helps prevent sclerotic changes in them and normalizes blood pressure.

In patients with chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins and superficial thrombophlebitis, Ascorutin (the instruction describes its effect) leads to a reduction in edema and pain, trophic disorders. In addition, the rutin included in its composition is an antioxidant and has a noticeable anti-inflammatory effect, promotes the accumulation and assimilation of ascorbic acid. With different diseases and conditions, which are accompanied by the fragility of capillaries and their increased permeability (hypertension, arachnoiditis, rheumatism, septic endocarditis, hemorrhagic diathesis, capillarotoxicosis, and measles and scarlet fever), the drug Ascorutin is usually recommended .

Indications for its reception include also the defeat of capillaries due to the use of drugs that dilute the blood - anticoagulants (neodikumarina, etc.). The rutin-containing gel "Venoruton" significantly reduces pain and swelling in injuries.

Combined drug "Ascorutin" is taken only as prescribed by the doctor, usually 2-3 times a day, one tablet. The course is 3-4 weeks, depending on the patient's condition. Take this medication only when eating or after eating. Care should be taken: various allergic reactions caused by hypersensitivity to its components, as well as headache and dyspepsia - all these symptoms can be noted during the reception of the drug "Ascorutin". Contraindications to his admission - thrombophlebitis and a tendency to thrombosis, diabetes mellitus. In addition, like most other drugs, "Ascorutin" is not prescribed in the first trimester of pregnancy, and in the second and third are prescribed only if necessary.
