Classical Soviet comedy "Ivan Brovkin on the virgin soil". Actors, roles, plot

Soviet movies, despite their "censorship" and "staged", had an amazing property: they encouraged us to believe in the show cinema world in which all individuals were equal, and heroes were made all exclusively for the idea. So the "Ivan Brovkin on the virgin land" dilogy, the actors of which are deservedly called the legend of Russian cinema, did not depart from the canonical principles of the early Soviet cinematography.

Lyrical comedy

The film "Ivan Brovkin on the Virgin Lands" was released in 1958, just at the moment when the lyrical Soviet cinema began its development, waking up after the tough Stalinist propaganda period. The atmosphere of the film is quite simple, and for some contemporaries, its narrative narrative may seem incomprehensible and even boring. After all, the whole plot of the film is a graphic demonstration of how people, united by an idea alone, selflessly work for the good of the Motherland and at the same time are sure to succeed. The film "Ivan Brovkin on the virgin lands" is a beautiful retro film. Watching it means fully enjoying deep, pure feelings, sincere emotions, real human values that exist, despite all the difficulties that are always present: in the post-war years, and now, in a chaotic modernity.

Sequel painting

After the success of the first film - "Soldier Ivan Brovkin" (1955) - the creators took up shooting the film-the sequel to the adventures of the central character - the film "Ivan Brovkin on the virgin soil", the actors brilliantly informed the viewer of the idea of director Ivan Lukinsky. The plot of the tape was also dashingly twisted around the personality of the central character Ivan Brovkin (actor Leonid Kharitonov). Formerly the crafty fellow finishes military service in the rank of sergeant and decides to go with a group of like-minded colleagues to go to the virgin lands. However, before the long journey, he goes to visit his native land and bride Lyubasha. But the native collective farm meets the hero pretty cool - half of the residents consider him a traitor, the wedding is upset, and Ivan in his heart leaves for the virgin land.

And again into battle, we only dream of peace ...

The protagonist, having arrived on virgin land in the midst of harvesting, immediately joins a friendly team. Winter passes, in the spring Ivan becomes a foreman and expects mother's visit, but the guy does not cease to miss his beloved. Before the arrival of the mother, the virgin land friends build a house for their brigadier. Soon, Zakhar Silych (actor Mikhail Pugovkin), chairman of the collective farm of Brovkin, comes to the virgin lands, he wants to take his fiancée to Pauline, who also works conscientiously in virgin lands. However, having seen the situation, imbued with the spirit of solidarity of working people, decides to stay with his beloved and "raise the virgin land". For significant labor successes Brovkin awarded an honorary award - the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, now the hero safely goes to his native places to woo the waiting for Lyubasha. After a noisy wedding, the newlyweds return to the development of virgin lands. From the above, it becomes clear - the film "Ivan Brovkin on the Virgin Lands" - a real Soviet melodramatic comedy with all the traditional components.

We have a song not only to build, but to live helps ...

The tape was shot at the real virgin land, in the actually existing state farm "Komsomolsky", located on the territory of the Orenburg region in the Adamov district. Naturally, in the scenario and during the filming of the life of tselinnikov workers was strongly "embellished": separate houses for new settlers, in the house and bathroom, and toilet, amenities, etc. Nevertheless, the picture became extremely popular and received a nationwide love And recognition, as well as songs that were sung by the heroes of the film "Ivan Brovkin on the Virgin Lands". Actors mostly performed them themselves. When the famous tenor S. Ya. Lemeshev received an offer to record songs for the voice-over of Brovkin, he refused, motivating his refusal to lose credibility (after all, the main character obviously did not finish the conservatory). The musical compositions included in the picture were created by the composer A. Lepin in the words of Alexei Fatyanov. Thanks to the talent and giftedness of these people, the songs "Komsomol members of the 30s", "On difficult roads", "How to go to me", "The Steppes of Orenburg" sounded in the movie "Ivan Brovkin on the virgin lands".

Actors and roles

The film "Ivan Brovkin on the virgin lands" is a wonderful classic Soviet comedy film, staged by Ivan Lukinsky, who collected for shooting a beautiful actor's ensemble with direct participation of Leonid Kharitonov, Tatyana Peltzer, Dai Smirnova, Mikhail Pugovkin, Vera Orlova and others. Such venerable actors managed to translate the best spiritual qualities of Soviet people into their characters and convey their civic feelings and personal experiences through the screen to the viewer.
