Aqua-rose - the main decoration of your garden

Roses are considered the most beautiful of ornamental plants. And despite the fact that caring for them is quite complicated, many growers do not stop trying to grow this beautiful flower.

What is the rose Aqua?

This class belongs to the tea-hybrid class. It is a shrub up to one meter high. A special feature of the variety is the almost complete absence of spines. The leaves are matte and consist of usually five pieces. Flowers can be either single or in small-flowered inflorescences. Their diameter varies from 8 to 10 cm, sometimes there are specimens and 12 cm. Flowers flat, terry or semi-double, have a pronounced smell. The buds are magnificent, since in each of them there can be about 40 petals. The main flowering time is from July to the first frost. This explains the prevalence of tea-hybrid roses as garden plants.

Rose Aqua has gained great popularity among florists due to its resistance to disease, which is not possessed by other varieties. Its buds can be as gently pink, and a rich lilac color. In addition, the shade has the property of changing during flowering.

Aqua-rose, like other species of this plant, does not tolerate excessive moisture. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully monitor the fact that the soil is not supersaturated with water. But at the same time, the soil should not be dry. Ideal option will be a moderate-moist soil with good drainage. In addition, it is best to plant roses in places where there is no high groundwater table.

Requirements for heat and light

Rose Aqua is a light and thermophilic plant. Of course, she will not die in the shade, but the blossom will be very bad. Although this variety is considered frost-resistant and carries the temperature down to -10 degrees, yet for winter it needs shelter. But before you hide the rose, it must be prepared. To do this, remove all the flowers, leaves and unscreened shoots from the bush. Then it is covered from above with leaves or earth. More modern way - shelter with the help of frameworks with thermoinsulating materials. Aqua is a rose that does not tolerate the wind and loves secluded, warm and protected places. This must be taken into account when planting seedlings.

Requirements for soil

Proper soil plays an important role in the cultivation of plants, in particular such demanding ones as roses. Aqua is a sort of rose that needs soil with a pH of 5.8 to 6.5. If the soil does not meet these conditions, then it is necessary to carry out reclamation. Tea-hybrid roses require nutrients several times greater than other species of this plant.

How to propagate correctly?

Reproduction of a plant is a very important stage. Failure to comply with all necessary rules can lead to the death of the flower. Aqua-rose multiplies by dividing bushes, root cuttings. The best period for this will be early spring, autumn or summer. After planting a bush is formed, for this purpose only 2-3 kidneys are left, and if the stem is weak, then 1 or 2.

Features of disembarkation

When planting roses, you must adhere to some rules, and then they will delight in lush flowering. First of all, before planting it is necessary to hold the seedling in the water for 4-5 hours. Also, you need to make sure that the distance between the roses is 30 cm, and between the rows - 90 cm. Aqua-Rose needs a clothespin for removing and removing weak shoots for better growth and development. The earth needs to be periodically loosened, as this promotes better penetration of air and moisture.

How to properly feed?

Aqua-rose requires compulsory feeding. The best option for her will be slurry or special mineral fertilizers with the addition of nitrogen. When feeding fertilizer, fertilizers are introduced into pre-prepared grooves 35 cm from the last shoots. Before this pits must be filled with water, and after drying, fill it with soil. The next day, in order for the fertilizer to work better, the soil should be loosened. Top dressing is carried out from spring to mid-summer.

This variety equally well goes both to cut for bouquets, and as a garden ornament and perfectly feels in the open ground. Rose Aqua, whose photo does not convey all her beauty, is truly the queen of flowers. With proper care, she will delight her owners with lush buds and a beautiful, rich aroma.
