Appendicular infiltration

An infiltrate is the area of living tissue of the body with an uncharacteristic accumulation of cellular elements, with which lymph and blood are mixed.

In medicine, it is common to subdivide a cluster into two large groups that have subspecies. Physiological infiltration includes lymph nodes, nodes and other. Products of the pathological cluster include products of inflammation.

The appendicular infiltrate includes a vermiform appendix, an adjacent part of the loop of the intestine and the caecum, a large omentum, a mesentery. This cluster of organs and tissues is formed three to four days. Appendicular infiltrate refers to the complications of destructive appendicitis.

On examination, the lagging and moisture of the tongue, paleness of the skin, subfebrile temperature are revealed. Appendicular infiltration is accompanied by a painful syndrome on the right in the ileum. The pain subsides a little after four days after the onset of the disease. This indicates that the formation of the infiltrate is over. Tachycardia is also observed in patients. When palpation there is local soreness to the right in the ileum. In addition, the presence of a slow moving formation with uneven contours is revealed. Appendicular infiltration may be accompanied by local weakly positive symptoms of irritation of the peritoneum.

With the course of the disease, nonspecific inflammatory signs in the blood (leukocytosis, accelerated ESR) are revealed, the survey radiograph shows a violation of pneumatization in the intestinal loops.

The diagnosis is differentiated with gynecological diseases and intestinal tumors.

To persons who are diagnosed with this infiltrate, the treatment is applied conservatively. Surgical intervention in this case is contraindicated. This is due to the fact that the separation of the infiltrate is accompanied by damage to the walls of the intestine. When the disease is prescribed locally cold, antibacterial therapy, rest. At stihanii the phenomena of an acute character appoint physiotherapeutic procedures (UHF). After passing conservative treatment, the patient is recommended to perform very light physical exercises. To them, for example, is yoga for beginners.

Degeneration of the infiltrate, usually occurs within two to three weeks. After three to six months, scheduled appendectomy can be scheduled.

The formation of an infiltrate can lead to suppuration and the appearance of an appendicular abscess, which is an indication for surgical intervention. An emergency operation is prescribed in the case of peritonitis caused by an inferior barrier function.

Tumor infiltrate includes tumor cells of different nature. These include cancer, sarcoma, etc. This cluster refers to the manifestation of infiltrating tumor development. His clinical symptoms are manifested, as a rule, by pain of varying degrees in the affected area, depending on the degree of increase in the size of the tissue. The disease accompanies the inflammatory process, which provokes stenosis of the affected area. At the same time, the normal structure of healthy cells is disrupted with a systematic increase in the number of infected inflamed cells. Continuous process as a result can provoke a dysfunction not only of the infected organ itself, but of the whole organism.

The formation of a tumor infiltrate can contribute to complications of cancer. So, in the thick and rectum, for example, malignant neoplasm is revealed. It leads to infiltration. Colonoscopy is used to diagnose this tumor. This method allows you to visualize the complication and conduct a biopsy. According to the research results, the optimal treatment tactic is chosen.
