Antifreeze G12 is a new generation of antifreeze. Initially, only water was used as the engine cooling agent. In principle, it suited its operational qualities in the summer, but in the winter such a cooling system brought a lot of trouble, because it is peculiar to freeze at a temperature below 0 ° C. To save the engine, the liquid had to be drained when the car was stored. Water also hit the metal with corrosion. Technologists offered an additive - ethylene glycol. He proved himself well in older vehicles. But lightweight cars with light engines made of non-ferrous alloys came out onto the conveyor belt, and here the ethylene glycol became inappropriate, as it entered into chemical interaction with aluminum alloys, destroying the radiator, motor and connecting tubes.

Therefore, a new cooling agent "Tosol", replacing corrosion, replaced water with additives. Later, German manufacturers offered the motorists a new generation of coolant - G11 - with excellent properties, but with very little life, and a new G12 antifreeze, which has a service life of five years, came to replace it.

Today, all car stores have it on sale and attract the attention of buyers with the many advantages indicated on the label. As practice shows, G12 is an antifreeze having an anticorrosive and carboxyl composition of acids of organic origin. For the motorist, this means that there are already very good detergents in this coolant, so when you replace it after the expiry date, you do not have to rinse the system.

Anticorrosion additives that contain G12 Plus Plus antifreeze do not clog the cooling system. They are attracted only to those places where corrosion is actively localized, and for all undamaged areas are distributed by the thinnest protective film, not exceeding 0.1 mK in thickness.

The five - year service life is very convenient for Western motorists, because the G12 antifreeze gives them the opportunity to completely not care about the engine cooling system during the entire operation of the vehicle. It is poured into the system directly on the production line. Western European people rarely use one car for more than five years, which means that, in principle, there should be no worries about the cooling system.

Replacing the antifreeze G12 is already the subsequent car owners. As a rule, these are residents of the countries of Eastern Europe, that's why our compatriots should be able to choose the real products, not the Asian counterfeit. This is important because the car is designed specifically for this type of coolant. If another is poured into it, then as a result, the system can form what you see on the proposed photographs.

When choosing antifreeze G12, do not be tempted by the product, on the label of which it is written that it "meets the requirements" or "meets the conditions" of the developer. This means that the product meets certain properties of antifreezes according to some properties, but there are no fundamental properties of G12 and guarantees of conformity to quality.
