Anonymous (hackers): programs, hacking and reviews. Group of hackers Anonymous

Anonymous is an international group of hackers who have long been engaged in hacking sites of government organizations.

The birth of a legend

Hackers from the group Anonymous are now known throughout the world. Not hackers, of course, but only their actions. But how did it all begin, and what goals did they set?

At their first stage of the development of Anonymous, they saw only the freedom of the Internet and entertainment as their goal. They easily subjected DDoS-attacks to servers of copyright holders, held various jocular and not quite actions, but soon a bunch of fans grew to a decent size and became an international organization of hackers Anonymous, terrifying the governments of many countries. These cyber fighters easily crack the most secure sites, whether it is a resource of the CIA or the Pentagon.

In fact, the group of Anonymous hackers operates so successfully and is not caught only due to the fact that none of the members of the group have ever seen anyone else live, and all communication takes place virtually. Their faces are always hidden behind the masks of Guy Fawkes from the movie "V - means Vendetta". In addition, Anonymous hackers are scattered around the world from the UK to China, so there is no way to calculate them. The police can arrest 2-3 people, but the organization will not suffer any special damage.

Groups of anonymous hackers were formed in almost all developed countries of the world. And Russia is no exception. In Russia there is the group Anonymous Russia. Like every self-respecting organization, Anonymous also has an account in Twitter, where they tell people about the latest promotions and plans.

Anonymous and Igil

Not long ago, Anonymous hackers declared war on the Islamic State (IGIL), a terrorist organization of Muslims. The snatchers hacked about 5000 militant accounts. This allowed them to find out where the militants plan to carry out the terrorist attacks. Anonymous published the results of their actions, and the world shuddered. Among the purported targets were France, Italy, the United States, Lebanon, Indonesia. Now some hackers closely cooperate with the special services of the above-mentioned countries, in order to prevent a tragedy.

During the war, hackers with IGIL got to Turkey. Having cracked the mail of Turkish President Erdogan, Anonymous hackers learned how loyal he was to the militants of IGIL, and promised the government of Turkey retaliatory measures. A series of attacks on the government's servers was made, as a result of which they were blocked. In addition, Anonymous promised to "put" the servers of Turkish airports and banks and completely paralyze their work.

Some experts in IT security consider the "war" Anonymous against IGIL a frivolous occupation. As one of the specialists said, "they did not bring much harm to each other and are unlikely to bring, because both sides are incompetent in terms of protection and hacking people." True, these words are somewhat at odds with how easily hackers overcome various protection sites.

Anonymous and China

Except ИГИЛ, group of hackers Anonymous has decided to attack also China. The hackers were not satisfied with the attitude of the Chinese government towards freedom of the Internet and freedom in general. As a result, they hacked about 500 sites belonging to the Chinese government. The sites were blocked for a long time, and instead of information from the Chinese Communist Party, they were on their way to bypass the blocking of unwanted information introduced by the "repressive government."

Official China itself does not confirm the attack on its servers. However, the fact is obvious. Anonymous decided to raise the people of the Middle Kingdom to fight censorship and restraint of freedom. On the official channel Anonymous in "Twitter" hackers call on the people of this country to rebel and continue to attack them along with them, until the regime "collapses".

Strike across Russia

Did not pass by the interest of hackers and Russia. The Russian organization Anonymous hacked the Kremlin's websites. True, the hackers did not inflict a special damage, but it was more a demonstration of strength. Having access to personal data of officials, hackers could "merge" this all into the network. And then for sure the next scandal would erupt.

However, something leaked out. In addition to the official Kremlin website, Anonymous-hackers hacked and the site of the organization "Our", at one time actively promoted Vladimir Putin. And here we got very interesting data on the financial expenses for agitation of the population of the Russian Federation. Hackers promised to put in the network and the history of the dark deeds of the party "United Russia", if the "Our" will not stop their propaganda.

True, in their actions, a prejudiced political motive begins to be traced. Recently, hackers from the Anonymous group made public information that could not withstand any serious criticism, it was Russia, not Ukraine, that blocked the water in the Crimea. According to them, Russia specifically turned off the pumps and paralyzed the water supply, accusing Ukraine of this in order to raise its level of influence in the Crimea. The assumption is more than absurd.

Other countries

Anonymous hackers did not ignore other states that caused their displeasure with those or other actions. They conducted hundreds of attacks on the websites of the government of Japan. The website of the Prime Minister of Japan, for example, was unavailable for a very long time. The US only recently restored the CIA server after their attacks. And in London, hackers hacked servers to all well-known firms Visa and MasterCard. In Canada, government websites were also attacked. Again, in the US, the Church of Scientology site was subjected to DDoS attacks. There is a feeling that Anonymous has declared war not only to IGIL or to China, but also to all countries and governments at once.

Instead of concluding

Anonymous amaze with their abilities. Attacking well-protected servers of different states is a very difficult and troublesome business. They are rescued only by the fact that crackers are scattered all over the world, and it is not so easy to calculate them. But there are also failures. For example, in London, two people were arrested during the attack on MasterCard and Visa.

Reviews about this group and their activities, as usual, you can find a variety of. Some completely support them, others are delighted that for them there are no barriers on the Internet. And some consider ordinary maximalists.

Many of the youth would be happy to join the Anonymous-hackers. The programs conducted by these fighters for justice seem quite right now. However, do not forget that, no matter how Anonymous did not argue for freedom and justice, what they do is a criminally punishable crime. It is better to observe from the side, than the confrontation between states and hackers will end.
