Anapsky reserve "Utrish"

In order to preserve unique biological species, special protection zones are created in which a person is not allowed to violate natural harmony: to hunt, fish, collect plants. In our country there are several such territories. There are also in the south. For example, the reserve "Big Utrish" in Anapa.

Territorial composition

Created the reserve in 2010. The territory of its territory includes partially the reserve "Big Utrish". The territory of the reserve is divided into several sections. Some of them are forests, another part is the sea. "Utrish" in the translation from Adyghe language means "collapse". This name of this area was not accidental. Screes and landslides occur here quite often. In addition, tectonic processes are constantly occurring here, thanks to them and the effects of sea waves, the appearance of a narrow and steep coastline is constantly changing. The Utrish reserve in Anapa is not only forest and sea, but also mountains. On the Abrau peninsula are the two highest of them. This is the Eagle height of 548.6 m and Mare height of 531.6 m.

Rich flora

The nature reserve "Utrish", the photo of which is presented in this article, is rich in diverse vegetation. There are coniferous and deciduous forests in it, as well as shrubs. Grow in it hornbeam, dates, pines, beech, linden and juniper, ash and pistachios. The Utrish reserve is a place where relic species of flora representatives grow. 72 of them are listed in the Red Book. There are also such plants that have survived to this day from the pre-glacial period: the pseudo-yellow onion, yew berry, and also the medlar german, pistachio tulip, including the eastern beech and tanning mackerel, the viburnum are proud, the light maple, as well as the feather grass, tan sumac And the Colchis swamp.

Dangerous trees

Tourists need to be very careful, especially if they are new to the southern flora. Harmless to the appearance of plants can cause harm to human health. For example, hold a tree, the place of growth of which is the reserve "Utrish", is very dangerous. Once in its thickets, you can stay there forever, which often happens to animals. Large spines do not release their prey and prevent it from moving forward, so do not even try to get through the thickets of the tree, better to bypass them.

Animal world

Just like other similar places, the Utrish reserve is a refuge for many species of mammals. Some of them are listed in the Red Book. For example, the Caucasian forest cat. These animals live singly and hide very well, so it's not so easy to see them. Favorite place of cats are mountains. Usually the Caucasian cat is hidden from people, but the lack of food, and this is usually small animals and birds, makes it go out to their homes and hunts domestic animals.

In coastal caves there are several species of bats. Scientists have been found even a rare European black. Also, the Utrish reserve is a place where 8 species of amphibians live, plus 14 species of reptiles. Here live turtles, snakes, slides, newts, frogs, toads and copper coins.

Marine life

Do not forget that the territory of the reserve is located not only on land, but also on the sea. And in it live fish. In the Red Book of Russia are brought trout, and also the Black Sea beluga. And the Red Book of the Krasnodar Territory includes light croaker, yellow trigalus, as well as four-lobed chromobius. Some inhabitants of the Black Sea prefer to live in it only in the summer. For example, Luffar, Pelamida. Here they feed and reproduce, and with the onset of cold weather they go to the Sea of Marmara. And others live constantly: sprats, anchovies, horse mackerel and others.

Underwater danger

Some marine inhabitants are dangerous for humans, because they are poisonous. For example, a prickly shark, better known as katran. The poison is in her dorsal fins. If a person pierces them, they will experience severe pain, a swelling and redness will appear. If this poison manifests an allergy, the consequences can be even more serious. Also in the Black Sea lives a cat shark. To be afraid of it is not necessary, because it reaches in length only 60 centimeters and lives only in deep layers of water, feeding on fish and invertebrates. Discomfort can deliver crabs by pinching a person with their claws. There are a lot of them in the marine area that belongs to the reserve. But they do not attack first, so do not touch them with hands, otherwise the crab grabs the finger of its claw and releases it only after a while. And this can be quite painful, especially if the "attack" was made by a marble or stone crab, the width of the shell is 9-10 centimeters, and therefore the claws are quite large. In addition, it can be pricked about thorns of scorpion, sea ruff or sea dragon.

Do tourists like the Utrish reserve? Reviews about it are only positive. And how wonderful the southern nature does not like! To get here if you want, you can independently by shuttle or bus, as well as with the excursion. If you sail in Utrish on a sea ship, you can enjoy unforgettable views of the rocky shores. From the sea, you can see the legendary rock, to which Prometheus was chained. The deserted local spaces attracted nudists who arranged their beach in one of the lagoons. In natural areas tourists rest in tent camps. You can make horseback riding along the mountain paths, or you can just relax alone with nature. Air and sea have a curative effect, they are especially useful to those who have skin, lung or bronchial diseases. Resting in the reserve, remember that it was created in order to preserve nature: do not sorize, do not burn grass, do not destroy plants and animals. Then our descendants will be able to see the beauty of our planet.
