All-glass partitions vs frame structures: differences and methods of application

Separators of glass space in modern interiors are used in all their diversity and, undoubtedly, extremely successfully. And, which is characteristic, in approximately equal parts in respect of its popularity, there are both frame and frameless massifs. Certainly, in the same and in other constructions the same materials are used, in fact, in a slightly different visual representation, they all serve the same practical purposes, yes, and the properties are almost identical to them. But, at the same time, all-glass partitions and frame structures have a number of cardinal differences, their aesthetic effects differ diametrically, and practical possibilities are more than individual.

How do the load distribute the whole glass partitions?

The preference for this or that variety of glass dividers is based, in many respects, on the current requirements for the distribution of loads. In fact, wireframe pressure options are spread evenly, translating it from the canvas to the frame. This is what determines their stability and reliability, even in the case of heavily thickened, and even double, cloths, the ability to aggregate with opaque finishes. In the production of all-glass partitions, of course, everything is not so. The visual requirement for the equipment of solid transparent walls, with virtually no visible or very poorly visible fasteners, dictates the need to install entirely glass partitions with a complete lack of vertical frame elements, and, indeed, the horizontal ones are often quite miniature, located at certain points. And such fastenings, of course, and the load distributed pointwise, not allowing you to significantly increase the weight of canvases and their sizes.

Solution of practical problems with the installation of all-glass partitions

In view of the foregoing, it may be the wrong impression that the purchase of full-glass partitions can only serve decorative tasks, being unstable and unreliable in nature. This is far from the case, because the modern production of profiles of super-strong and hardy materials allows even such structures to successfully play their role in the interior, providing it with a worthy analogue to the capital wall, while the glass itself is in no way inferior in properties to those that Are used in wireframe analogs.
