A fisherman from Murmansk collected a real collection of deep-sea monsters

While mankind is in search of extraterrestrial civilizations, an ordinary fisherman from Murmansk, Roman Fedortsev, reminds us of the incredible diversity of biological species inhabiting the depths of our planet, many of which we still do not know much about.

Roman Fedortsov works on a fishing boat in the port of Murmansk and collects finds from the frozen sea of the Barents Sea. And while we are anxiously reflecting on how many strange fish get into the Fedortsov's network and his crew from the sea depths from a great depth, his collection can be an excellent opportunity to learn more about these unusual creatures.

Roman places photos of the caught fish in his "Twitter" and "Instagram." Among them there are such deep-water species as, for example, shark-ghosts or chimeras. Look chimeras extremely frightening. They live at a depth of about 2.6 thousand meters, and it is not so easy to catch these eerie creatures.

The shark-ghost has bright green eyes in the light, and in the depths of the sea - infinitely black. In fact, many deep-sea fish have a dark color: they can absorb the smallest rays of light falling into the water and remain unnoticed.

In addition, red light waves do not penetrate deep into the water, so individuals that have red scales can also easily hide in the sea. This red perch is an excellent proof.

And this strange-looking macrus has a red tint

Among the most creepy specimens of the collection are a plucked shark ...

... and a nightmarish black swordfish

And this fisherman has not yet identified

In the depths of the sea there are not only fish.

This spider, the size of the palm, also fell into the fishing nets

There are still many eerie and strange creatures in the collection. Here are some of them.

These animals live in the depths of the Barents Sea.
