39 week of pregnancy. Collecting things in the hospital

The term of childbirth is getting closer, 39 weeks of pregnancy are already going on, which means that fights or water drainage can begin at any moment. We need to be ready for this. It is advisable not to go out alone, constantly to be in touch with loved ones. The last days can be called the heaviest, the heart is practically in a horizontal position, the pulse is rapid, you just want to lie still, this is how 40 and 39 weeks of pregnancy pass. Nausea, diarrhea, severe shortness of breath are normal companions of the last days before childbirth.

Most likely, the hospital has already been selected. Some prefer to give birth under the contract, having agreed with the certain doctor, and so the contract is already made. It remains only to wait until the baby finally decides to see his mother. By this time, bags in the hospital must be collected and wait for their time. If this is not the case, then there is very little time left to correct the situation.

What will the mother need in the maternity hospital?

1. Documents. The exchange card of the pregnant woman, the medical policy and its copy, passport, SNILS, certificate.

2. Clothes. Now in maternity homes, the process of delivery and labor for mothers is provided with a set of disposable clothes, so for this period nothing to prepare is not necessary. But during the stay with the child will need any comfortable clothes. The only thing to consider is that breastfeeding in the early days will occur almost around the clock, and access to the breast should be easy and convenient. For this gowns are perfect, it will be enough just to unfasten the zipper or the button. Very convenient and a bra for feeding, it is also recommended to take with you. You will need comfortable clothes for sleeping (again we do not forget about night feeding by the breast), slippers, several pairs of socks and panties.

3. If it's already 39 weeks of pregnancy, it's time to collect personal hygiene products. Several packs of super absorbent pads. It is better to purchase special postpartum, the surface of usual pads is most often a mesh made of polyethylene. This material will irritate the intimate places, traumatized by labor. Disposable panty liners may be useful . Of course, in the first days after the birth of the baby, until the milk comes, they will be unclaimed, but then even very useful. Soft toilet paper, soap (preferably liquid), paste and brush, hairbrush, washcloth, shampoo, small and large towel.

4. You will need your own mug and spoons (tea, canteen). And clothes on the statement.

5. For the baby. Clothing for discharge, depending on the time of year (calico and flannel diaper, raspashonka, sliders, envelope or blanket, ribbon, you can immediately purchase a kit for the discharge of a newborn). Usually, if 39 weeks of pregnancy are going on, then moms have already stocked up with these necessary things, and if for some reason there is not, then it's not scary, dad or relatives will bring them by the time of discharge. In the generic to the baby dressed cap, socks and raspashonka with closed sleeves, you need to immediately prepare it. Usually, the maternity hospital supplies babies with diapers, additional ones will not be needed, especially if one considers that everyone uses disposable diapers.

6. The camera. Newborns change every minute!

And now what is better not to bring to the hospital. These are deodorants and perfumes with a strong aroma. Books, wool sweaters, yarn, soft toys, dust and various microorganisms accumulate on these things.

If the bags have long been collected, and the period is coming to an end and is 39 weeks pregnant, it's better to double-check everything.

Documents must be carried everywhere with them. Of course, their absence does not mean that if the mother has 39 weeks of pregnancy, pulls her stomach, water has gone, and fights have begun, but she will not be accepted. Be sure to accept, but it's better if everything you need is with you.
