The words that the best gift - made by own hands, have recently acquired a special meaning. Hand-made products began to enjoy unprecedented popularity, handwork again in vogue. Many were carried away by hand-made paper: origami, scrapbooking, quilling, silhouette cutting, voluminous postcards - they create the most different works with their own hands. Among other things, this hobby allows you to realize your creative potential.

Ideas of cards by own hands

The following two variants of postcards differ in that they do not require the use of special tools or materials for manufacturing. They do not have complex cutting, embossing, special techniques for decorating the edges of products. But each of the variants is distinguished by a special design and creativity. In addition, these voluminous cards can even be made by a child. Thus, you can spend one of the free evenings with children, doing an exciting job.

March 8

To make such voluminous cards by yourself on March 8 will be required:

  • 2 sheets of embossed white decorative paper;
  • A sheet of green decorative paper;
  • White beads;
  • Universal adhesive;
  • scissors;
  • pencil;
  • Clerical punch.

First, you need to make several blanks. To do this, cut out a rectangle with a width of 28 and a length of 14 cm from a sheet of green paper and bend it in half - this is the basis for our postcard. Inside we write congratulations and wishes.

Now from the white paper we cut out 2 squares with sides: 13 cm and 12 cm. First, we glue to the outer part of the postcard a square of a larger size, and then a smaller one.

Next, we draw and cut out the blanks for the flowers.

  • 10 five-leafed flowers with a diameter of 3 cm and the same number of flowers 2 cm in size;
  • 10 circles with a diameter of 3 cm and 10 circles with a diameter of 2.5 cm;
  • 10 circles with a shaped edge of a diameter of 2.5 cm and 10 shaped circles with a diameter of 2 cm.

We make a few punctures with a puncher so that we get 20 felling for the middle of the flowers.

Now glue all the parts, from the largest to the smallest. The arrangement of colors is arbitrary, the main thing is to evenly fill the entire surface. In the middle of each flower, glue the bead and leave for a day to completely dry the glue. If the main white color seems too monotonous, then to make the whole work more juicy, flowers are made from bright colors paper.

New Year's card and envelope

Not only relatives, but also just friends will appreciate the creative and unusual New Year's gift from paper. "With your own hands? Can not be! Did you make this postcard yourself? "- exclaimed others so enthusiastically and amazedly, seeing such a souvenir.

The combination of different in texture unusual materials underlies the construction of the composition. This postcard shows how one can combine seemingly incompatible things in one work: a drawing, an application, a lace and a finishing line of a sewing machine.

For work, you will need color envelopes, sheets of white, gray, pink and brown paper, transparent buttons and lacy napkin. And the napkin can be made both from real lace, and from paper. You will also need glue, scissors, a pencil, ruler and a sewing machine.

First we make the blank of the bottom of the postcard. To do this, we measure the envelope and cut out a rectangle from a sheet of white paper with a width equal to the double width of the envelope minus 1 cm and a length equal to the length of the envelope minus 0.5 cm. Then the base of the postcard bends, and congratulations are written inside. The whole text is better to write when the product is not ready yet. After all, in the case of an error, you can simply cut out a new foundation, and not rework all the work.

Now, from the sheet of the selected color paper, we cut out a rectangle with a width equal to the postcard height minus 1 cm, and a length equal to the width of the postcard minus 3 cm.

From the lace napkin we cut out the cone-shaped part - the branches of the Christmas tree, and from the remaining pieces of napkins - figured snowflakes. We glue: the branchy part of the Christmas tree on colored paper and snowflakes on the envelope. Leave until the glue is completely dry.

Now, on the colored paper with the glued part of the napkin, we draw the base of the tree and the garland. Next, make a wide line on the pattern on the sewing machine metal strings of a silvery or golden hue. Before working with the sewing machine, you need to adjust the thread tension on the remaining piece of colored paper. Then we glue symmetrically the paper with the Christmas tree on the bottom of the postcard and paste the buttons. In the same sequence we make volumetric cards with our own hands from the remaining paper of another color, envelopes and paper napkins.
