Why do Russians like Belarusian cigarettes?

In Russian stores today it is hardly possible to meet Belarusian cigarettes. Smokers, as a rule, have to be content with domestic products. Although many of them would not have refused the goods of a neighboring friendly state.

Detailed description

In the Republic of Belarus only two tobacco factories are engaged in the production of cigarettes. One of them ("Neman") is located in Grodno, and the other (LLC "Tabak-Invest") - in Minsk. Both enterprises have existed for a long time and during this time they managed to prove themselves from the best side. Now Belarusian cigarettes are well known in the international market. Domestic enterprises are working at full force, supplying products to many countries of the former Union, as well as some European states.

Belarusian cigarettes are produced on modern equipment under the supervision of foreign experts from Switzerland and Great Britain. These countries have already acquired sufficient experience for many decades and now share it with their young colleagues. With their help, Belarusian enterprises were able to master new technologies, and leading specialists passed the necessary training abroad. Today we can say with confidence that Belarusian cigarettes fully comply with all existing international norms and standards.

The price of pleasure

With the formation of prices, almost all enterprises primarily focus on the domestic market. Nevertheless, marketing services are constantly studying the situation in the surrounding regions and are trying to regulate the cost so that their own products are competitive abroad. Perhaps that's why many Russians prefer Belarusian cigarettes. The prices for them are much lower, and the quality is no worse than that of the domestic ones.

However, recently the goods from Belarus are less and less on Russian counters. The fault is due to the high excise taxes that are set for the products of the countries of the single Customs Union. So far, the situation is developing in such a way that domestic cigarettes cost almost all similar imported products at a cost. For the Belarusian goods in the stalls long lines are built, and in the stores they are trying to find out about the supplies in advance. Of course, because in the Republic of Belarus a pack of cigarettes costs on average 35 rubles, and in Russia - about 70 rubles. The price ratio indicates a clear superiority of imported products and explains the increased demand for it.

Customer Reviews

Russians are familiar with Belarusian cigarettes. Reviews about them, however, usually cause frank controversy.

On the one hand, there are several positive characteristics:

  1. Low price. They are really 2-3 times cheaper than those products that are produced in Russian factories.
  2. Good quality of tobacco. It should be noted that the raw materials used in Belarusian enterprises are really excellent.

It would seem that everything is in order to produce the ideal product. But still most buyers agree in the common opinion that the quality of cigarettes from Belarus is very lame:

  1. After processing, the ideal tobacco turns into a strange mash, which is even unpleasant to smoke. It would seem that everything is done in accordance with the approved technology, and the result does not meet expectations. Tobacco in a cigarette smokes suspiciously, and sometimes it flares up on its own, creating a bright flash. This is very dangerous and can lead to serious injuries.
  2. Most products have one serious defect. The filter is loosely attached and poorly glued at the junction with the sleeve. As a result, an unnecessary gap is created, and cigarettes do not stretch well.

The management of Belarusian enterprises does not recognize claims for quality and considers single cases to be insignificant. Although, perhaps, they should be heeded. After all, this is still the opinion of buyers, which can not be ignored.

Rich assortment

Listing Belarusian cigarettes, whose brands are known to Russians, you can especially distinguish:

  • NZ;
  • "Minsk";
  • Premier;
  • "Fort";
  • "Magnate";
  • "Fest";
  • "Crown";
  • Portal;
  • Winston;
  • Queen;
  • Monte Carlo;
  • Alliance;
  • Magna;
  • Kent and others.

Some of these items are already produced by Russian manufacturers. But high prices for domestic goods make people look for more democratic options. True, sometimes they get into the country as smuggling.

But the ordinary smoker tries not to pay attention to some economic violations. A difficult financial situation makes him compromise with himself and agree to close his eyes to it. This situation also jeopardizes the work of local enterprises. They are forced to fight in unequal conditions. But the government does everything to support the domestic producer. Everything is done to ensure that Russian products can maintain their positions both on the domestic and foreign markets.
