What kind of documents for a child's passport should be collected?

In the Russian Federation, legislation gives the child the right to own a foreign passport for travel to other countries of the world. The first stage: we collect documents for the passport

For the child it is possible to issue a travel document of two types:

- Russian passport of one of the parents (or the person replacing them);

- after payment of the state fee (about 1200 rubles) it is necessary to provide a receipt;

- If an overseas travel document was issued earlier and the period has not yet expired, it must be replaced with a new one.

Documents for the passport for a child aged 14-18:

- one copy of the application form filled out by the parent;

- four photographs of the child and four - the parent, the required format and quality;

- birth certificate with a note on Russian citizenship or an insert with this information;

- Russian passport of the child;

- Passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation of one of the parents (or a person who replaces them);

- certificate from the place of study of the child (optional, but desirable);

- After payment of the state fee (about 2500 rubles), you must provide a receipt;

It is advisable to make photocopies of all documents in advance, as well as correctly arrange them and notarize them. If the child leaves the country with the parents or a person who replaces them, with a different one from his surname, then it is necessary to make copies of the documents confirming that you are relatives.

If, however, the purpose of the delivery of documents is to obtain a biometric passport, then it is necessary to come with the child to take biometric indicators.
