What is corporate and how can it be?

We have heard many times, but have never thought about what a corporate is and what the meaning of this word is. But after all, each of us at least once in my life was at such an event! A corporate is a collective event in a company that does not have a direct relationship to its core business, with the direct involvement of all employees.

Why corporate needs?

The management of any firm is interested in holding mass corporate parties. The main goal of such events is to unite the collective, as a result - to increase the productive activity of all employees and the organization itself. In fact, the corporate is a holiday among colleagues, but it can also bring certain benefits not only to the entire collective, but individually to everyone.

The purpose of the corporate

The main goal of any corporate is to strengthen the team, increase the level of communication and give an opportunity to feel employees meaningful for the company. That there was no desire to leave from the first minute of the event, all preparation is better to entrust to professionals. If the trusted employees of the company are engaged in this issue, their task is to provide for all possible nuances, take into account the interests of employees, create a certain atmosphere, otherwise the corporate can end without even starting.

Types of corporate events

1. Labor. Such corporate parties were in Soviet times. Employees from state institutions, schoolchildren, students were sent to socially useful work. As a rule, these are collective-farm fields and gardens. After a very productive labor communication, picnics, campfire gatherings, sang songs and conducted intimate conversations.

2. Athletic. Any competition or competition in which there can be both participants and fans. This especially makes the problem easier when some people do not want to take part in sports games, then they get a good support group. Activities can be very different - from football to checkers. And when the corporate is over, the photos will be a perfect reminder of the time spent. It is important to foresee what the employees are most interested in and take into account these wishes when choosing a sport.

3. Prizes. One of the favorite events on awarding prizes and gifts. Organizers need to be smart enough to tighten the entire team to distribute bonuses. Ideas can be from the banal ("The Best Worker of the Month") to the original ("Best Outing"). Such a corporate is an excellent opportunity to show employees that they are valued not only for good work.

4. Celebration. Official holidays of the country can be a good occasion for a corporate party. Everybody likes and knows how to walk. But that such a holiday does not end with a headache, it is reasonable to start it with an entertainment program in the form of a trip to a musical or theater, and only then to complete a music disco. And, of course, what is corporate without a buffet with a variety of snacks!

5. Trainings and seminars. The optimal work of the team largely depends on the relationship of employees, on their personal views on the work process and on the company as a whole. Trainings and personal growth help workers overcome the psychological barrier, teach communication with each other, bosses, clients, help to get used to the already established collective.

6. Anniversary. This is a holiday both for the creators of the company, and for its immediate employees. At the solemn part, it's worth to take stock of the past, congratulate everyone who has invested a lot in the development of the case, someone who is not around, dream a little and organize a magnificent corporate party. Practice shows that nothing so brings colleagues together, as a noisy and cheerful party. All the costs that will be invested by the organizers will more than pay off with the hard work of the rested workers.

7. Picnics. Another opportunity to relax your body and soul. It can be outdoor recreation, a fun boat ride or a short cruise to local attractions. You can start with the official part, because what is a corporate without the director's speech and a glance at the future! Well and further already - as it is necessary to soul, from sit-round gatherings at a fire before sports competitions.

8. Teambuilding. In some ways, these corporations are reminiscent of Soviet labor. Teambuilding means team building through mutual assistance. In the process of physical work and exercises, employees learn to trust each other, are not afraid to seek help, and offer their services more resolutely. Team tasks make the company one friendly family.

9. Presentations. A corporate event held to advertise, promote a new product or attract customers. The direct participation of employees helps them to better understand the general policy of the organization, feel part of a big cause, be aware of all new ideas and achievements.

What is corporate culture?

What is the corporate, we figured out, but what is the corporate culture? Communication during the work process or on vacation is a culture. Any question - including bonus and depreciation - is also a matter of culture. In order for joint activities to bring moral and physical satisfaction, a framework must be provided for them. In fact, corporate culture is a set of rules and concepts that should guide team members during labor and any other communication.

To this end, the company's management together with the team develops a number of important issues, compliance with which increases cohesion, improves the work process and stimulates moral satisfaction of each participant in joint production.

  • Form style.
  • Business ethics.
  • Personnel policy.
  • Rituals of the organization.
  • Ceremonies.
  • Traditions.
  • Values.
  • The climate in the company.

Solving these problems helps to distinguish the whole company from a number of similar ones and to increase the sense of unity of all members of the organization.

In general, the word "corporate" means not just a big entertainment event at the expense of the company, but also an important part of the company's culture. On how these parties are held, the working capacity and team spirit often depend on. So be vigilant and plan the event in advance and carefully, because when the corporate is over, photos and impressions will remain!
