What for the distribution manifold for water in heating systems?

The distributor manifold for water is used to distribute the working fluid evenly through the pipeline. Most often, such devices can be found in heating systems, for example in domestic water supply, "warm floors" and radiator heating. Therefore, if you decide to reequip your dwelling with a new water supply network, then this device must be installed without fail.

The distribution manifold for water in the domestic water supply system has many advantages, among which is the selection of the coolant flow mode, the possibility of installing and replacing devices without disconnecting other consumers from the pipeline network. In addition, when using such devices, you will forget about the drawbacks of the usual tee wiring system, when, when the tap was opened, the head of the kitchen disappeared in the bathroom. The water collector evenly distributes the load, therefore, you can not worry that one of the household members in this way will prevent you from taking a bath.

In turn, radiator heating has the following functionalities: reducing the risk of leakage of working fluid, the lack of many additional connections, simplifying the installation and significantly reducing the time spent on installing the entire system. The distribution manifold for water is installed at the entrance of the heating pipes to the apartment or house and can be used both in a two-pipe system and in a single-tube system. However, each of the presented connection methods has its own peculiarities.

In the single-pipe system, the main purpose of the collector is the spread of the hot coolant from the heating element to each radiator connected to the system. In this case, their serial connection is used.

In a two-pipe system, on the contrary, each heating element is connected to the system in parallel, that is, it is independent of the others. This method of connection has the following feature: the number of valves on the manifold should be equal to the number of connected radiators.

The main task of the device is the uniform distribution of the coolant between the heaters.

The water collector installed in the "warm floor" system allows to balance it, as well as to regulate the flow of the coolant supplied to the pipeline. Distribution equipment for floor heating is installed both on the input and on the output, which ensures the maintenance of the required flow and temperature.

Water collector: price

Since such devices daily pass through themselves a large amount of water, which is used not only for domestic needs, but also for cooking, therefore, their manufacture must be made from high-quality materials, for example, brass. This will to some extent increase the cost of the entire structure, but will eliminate the likelihood of the appearance of harmful impurities, hazardous to human health.
