What are AGV boilers, what are their advantages and disadvantages?

If you do not want to overpay for hot water, which, as usual, is served just barely warm in the faucets, just install the gas boiler AGV and enjoy the benefits of civilization. Well, if you own a private house, an autonomous water heater is absolutely necessary for you! What is it so useful and how much does it cost?

What is the AGV boiler?

AGV boilers are classified as autonomous gas water heaters, which in a matter of seconds heat the coldest water to more than 70 degrees Celsius. Of course, in such a liquid it is impossible to either buy normally, or even wash dishes, so each AGV device (including boilers) has a special regulator, and on some models even a display with a thermometer. In fact, this device is an analogue of electronic boilers, which also perform the function of heating and supplying hot water.

What are its advantages?

No wonder this device is present in almost every second apartment and private house, because, firstly, AGV boilers are the most affordable and at the same time reliable water heaters on the background of the rest, including boilers. Secondly, these tools are distinguished by their economic costs of heating the water. Already in about a year of operation such a boiler fully pays for itself. Even if there is a circulation pump in the device, the electricity consumption will be no more than 34 kW per month. Concerning gas, too, expenditures are democratic. Third, the AGV heating boilers are completely independent of electricity. Of course, if it does not have a circulation pump. And since there are a majority of such models on the Russian market, even in the absence of light, you will not lose hot water. And finally, autonomous gas heaters are the most simple and cheap to maintain.

About shortcomings

Each gas appliance has its own reverse side of the coin. And AGV boilers were no exception. Among the main disadvantages of these water heaters is worth noting their size. Such a heater occupies almost 1 cubic meter of space, so for its normal operation it is necessary to allocate a large part of the kitchen or some other room in advance. However, it should also be noted that recently in the Russian market began to appear wall gas units, which are much more compact than classic floor.

And one more The lack of use of these boilers is the need to use large diameter pipes that not only do not improve the interior design of the room, but also significantly prolong the process of heating the water in the system.

Price AGV

The average cost of these water heaters is about 20-25 thousand rubles. At the same time, the cheapest boilers cost about 10-11 thousand. Of course, with such a cost it is impossible to give a 100% guarantee for their impeccable work. But devices for 60 thousand are too unaffordable for their price category to ordinary citizens, so when choosing it is necessary to focus on the rule of the "golden mean".
