Again, equipment for forced ventilation should be avoided - in its pure form it is not allowed for installation in such premises. In the design process, both systems should be calculated. So, the exhaust ventilation of the gas boiler house must provide three times the total air exchange per hour. In turn, the supply channels in addition to the exhaust volume should separately take into account the intake of air consumed for the combustion of gas. It is also important to remember one more feature of supplying the boiler with ventilation equipment. Since there are always the danger of explosions and fires during the operation of gas assemblies, local communications must have special protection in the form of isolation.

Features of ventilation in the kitchen

Separate requirements apply to air exchange systems in the kitchen. First of all, for rooms where a gas stove is present, it is possible to provide a supply valve with the possibility of adjusting the volume of flowing streams. If the kitchen has a gas boiler, then you can limit the same valve, but without the ability to adjust the throughput. The same recommendation applies to premises in which a coal furnace is present. It is worth noting that the ventilation of the kitchen with gas stove is largely determined by the area of the room, as well as communication with other rooms. For example, under the condition of effective interaction of natural kitchen ventilation with other channels, the need for supply valves can disappear altogether.

The principles of gas ventilation are in many respects similar to those of other premises. But there are some peculiarities. First of all, they are expressed in increasing the intensity of air renewal and the volume of inflow. In addition, in each case, an individual calculation of the capacity of channels is made in terms of replenishment of the fence rate. And one more feature that distinguishes gas ventilation is the limitations on the use of forced air support systems. On the one hand, this requirement is quite logical and dictated by the safety standards, but on the other hand, it forces homeowners to look for more complicated solutions to the problem of air exchange. In most cases, the situation is saved by intermediate options that involve the use of air inlets.
