Fibreboard plate - a great material for construction

The wood fiber board (Fiberboard), in fact, is a specially treated wood chips. As a result, an even and sufficiently strong sheet material is obtained. For the manufacture of this building product, almost any wood fiber is used, as well as various wastes that are unavoidable in the processing of wood. They include chips, bark, sawn timber, etc. All the raw materials are mixed and fed to a chopper, where it is converted into a homogenous fine crumb suitable for further transformation. The wood-fiber board itself is produced by hot pressing of the prepared raw materials, with the addition of special additives. So, there are two methods:

1. Dry. When the wood-fiber board is produced only by bonding the wood fibers together.

2. Wet. In this case, the ground weight of the fibers is mixed with special binders to increase strength and bending resistance. Most often in the role of such compounds synthetic resin is used.

Fibreboard is represented in any construction market in the widest range. In this regard, there is a classification in which the fiberboard differ in size, severity and purpose. Let's consider each of these groups in more detail.

Since the wood-fiber board can be used not only as a building and finishing, but also as an insulating material, two types of plates are distinguished for their intended purpose - finishing and insulating fiberboard. Their dimensions are defined by standards and can have a length of up to 5.5 meters.

Rigidity of fiberboard is determined by the composition of the mixture from which it is made. So, distinguish soft, semisolid, hard and super hard plates.

Fibreboard soft type is widely used for sound and heat insulation of ceilings, walls and ceilings. In addition, it is used as a covering and leveling material, and also as a filler for the door leaf.

Semi-solid and solid types have found wide application in the process of finishing the walls, and they act as a lining material under the floor covering. In the furniture industry, wood-fiber boards are used for the production of cabinets, shelves and boxes. In the automotive industry, interior lining of the passenger transport cabin is made of them.

The ultra-hard wood fiber board is the most common electrical insulation material used for the production of panels and panels.

The density of this material also has a significant effect on its characteristics, and hence on the field of use. Even if the aesthetic appeal can be sufficiently increased by coating with special films and solutions, inadequate internal filling can not withstand. Sometimes this threatens only a small marriage, but if the case is more complicated, the wrong plate can cause a critical situation.
