Ukrainian Football Championship 2013: Financial Challenges Overtaken by All

Very interesting and rich in different events is the winter off-season in the Ukrainian Premier League football. True, these events are not always among the pleasant ones.

So, quite recently a number of media reported on financial problems for a whole group of clubs of the highest domestic division, such as: Volyn (Lutsk), Tavria (Simferopol), Krivbass (Krivoy Rog), Arsenal (Kiev). They even say that some of these clubs will not be able to continue their participation in the spring stage of the championship. However, if the financial situation in Lutsk and Krivoy Rog remains more or less stable and the management of the clubs has promised, at least, to finish the rest of the season, and then it will be seen, more disturbing news comes from the Simferopol camp and the Kyivans. Owners of both clubs want to sell them profitably, but they can not find worthy buyers. Arsenal's President, Vadim Rabinovich, admitted in an interview that he can no longer maintain a team with such a large budget, besides, all his attempts and actions to attract fans to the stadium were unsuccessful. According to him, if there is no help from the Kyiv city government or he will not find a new buyer, he is ready to dissolve the club. According to official information, the team of Kiev has already left 14 football players and the head coach - Leonid Kuchuk. Among the players who left the club: Yuri Pankiv, Yevgeny Borovik, Vladimir Polevoy, Alexander Kovpak and captain Maxim Shatsky. That's in such a difficult financial situation was the Ukrainian Football Championship 2013. The situation is not much better in Simferopol Tavria. In the camp of the first champion of Ukraine, the situation is declined to comment, but the fact that the financial crisis exists proves, at least, the fact that the Crimeans did not go to the training camps and stayed ready at home. In some soccer circles in Simferopol, they say that the loss of interest to the club of its main investor, businessman Dmitry Firtash. There are rumors that Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov can soon get Tavriya, but are they truthful?

What will happen next? - no one knows. But it is very insulting that the crisis has covered exactly those clubs that have always been in good financial condition and for many such news have become quite unexpected. Maybe it's just rumors, although smoke, as is known without fire does not happen. I just want all the above-listed clubs to correct their situation for the better and continue to please us with their victories in the Premier League.

The Football Championship of Ukraine in 2013 in the winter off-season showed its obvious financial problems, and in a number of clubs.
