True and seborrheic eczema - description, treatment, prevention

As a rule, seborrheic eczema begins on the scalp, the hairy part of it, gradually expanding. It appears in the form of tender scales, which are easily removed. Hair can begin to fall out. The skin behind the ears, on the temples, on the forehead turns red and becomes covered with the same scales. The process can be localized on the chest and in the interblade area. In these areas, spots of yellow-red color, covered with scales or crusts (yellowish color), are of different sizes.

Layering increases, and seborrheic eczema passes to the cheeks, capturing the face in the future completely. The skin turns red, and the scales become wet. The skin begins to melt and behind the ears, being covered with crusts of characteristic yellowish color. The layers under the hair are significantly increased.

In severe form, seborrheic eczema spreads to almost all open areas of the body: the neck, chest, back, hands. Hair fall out. Itching may be minor, and in some cases becomes severe. Today, seborrheic eczema is successfully treated. It develops at any age, but more often up to thirty and after fifty years.

True eczema, like seborrhoea, is one of the forms of the specimen. It begins acutely and at any age. Most often turns into a chronic, periodically exacerbated. During exacerbations, microvesicles are poured out, which are quickly opened. Point erosions, called eczematous wells, are exposed. After their drying, small crusts appear. Transition to the chronic stage is gradual, accompanied by stagnant erythema, scales, cracks. Foci of different sizes, contours scattered, fuzzy. The process is often symmetrical, localization on the back of the hands, feet, forearms, on the buttocks, on the chest, on the face. Patients experience itching.

Eczema. Treatment and prevention.

Do not give up, if you have eczema, you can treat this disease. The result of treatment depends on the form, stage of the disease and the individual characteristics of your body. In the vast majority of cases, the patient completely recovers. In addition to the individual treatment prescribed by the doctor, it is necessary to raise immunity, create conditions that avoid stress, take care of eliminating external irritating factors. For example, sweating irritates the skin and can cause a new outbreak. Therefore, in the room (at work, at home) the temperature should be close to + 23 ° C, humidity from 60%. The room must be ventilated. A minimum of carpets, upholstered furniture and other sources of dust accumulation. Daily wet cleaning of the room. Restriction (or better exclusion) of substances that irritate the skin: solvents, paints, varnishes, powders, etc. For washing choose hypoallergenic agents. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment. Minimize contact with plants that form pollen. It is not recommended to keep animals (dry food, wool, feathers are allergens). Do not wear clothing that can cause irritation (woolen, rough fabrics). Taking a bath for more than ten minutes at temperatures above 40 ° C is undesirable. Do not rub or comb your skin. As cleaning agents, it is preferable to use those for very sensitive skin with a minimum amount of additives. Correct the mode of rest and work.

It is very important to follow a diet. It is individual for everyone and should be consistent with your doctor. Protein products are often the cause of allergic reactions, consider this fact. Products for which there was an allergy are excluded at all. The minimum duration of a diet is one year. Vaccination during periods of exacerbation is excluded.

In the treatment traditionally used antidepressant agents: "Eryus", "Suprastin", "Telfast", "Diazolin", "Kestin", "Tavegil", anti-inflammatory serotonin ("Peritol"). However, most of these drugs are addictive (except for "Telfast" and "Erius"), so it is necessary to alternate the means used. In the form of injections appointed sulfate magnesia, calcium, sodium thiosulfate. Preparations "Enterosgel", "Uvisorb", "Rekitsen" contribute to the elimination of allergens. In addition, laxatives and diuretics are prescribed (Furosemide, Senadé, Dufalac), preferably a drink more. With severe itching, the drug "Prednisolone" is shown. As calming agents are appointed: valerian, motherwort, etc. It is necessary to take immunostimulants. Means "Trental", "Theonikol", improve blood circulation. If necessary, antiparasitic treatment is prescribed. Obligatory conditions are restoration of intestinal microflora and improvement of liver function.

In addition, climate and spa therapy is shown, preferably in autumn and spring.
