Transport tax. Benefits for the disabled, Veterans and War Participants.

Transport tax is forced to pay all motorists, and this is not a simple whim of the state, but a feasible contribution to the economy of its region. Meanwhile, low-quality roads and lack of attention of the authorities, often cause bewilderment among taxpayers: but where exactly do extraordinary money come from taxpayers and why are they not used for their intended purpose? And because many motorists often lose the desire to pay the state a tax on personal transport.

The idea of lifting the transport tax affected the hearts of both motorists and ordinary citizens, and was widely discussed in 2010 by federal officials. The plans were an increase in gasoline prices due to increased excise taxes. January of the new year was indeed marked by almost two-fold increase in excise taxes and a rise in price of gasoline, but the authorities are not yet going to cancel the transport tax that goes to the regional budget.

Every year the transport tax brings about 6 billion rubles to the treasury of the city budget, and it will be very sensitive to refuse such a sum for the city. Discussion of the cancellation of the transport tax at the federal level raised the issue that the regions can compensate some of these funds with excise taxes for gasoline. Nevertheless, while these negotiations lead to nothing, the abolition of the transport tax will in any case lead to a reduction in the city's budget.

According to the Tax Code of the Russian Federation, certain categories of the population are provided with privileges for transport tax. Benefits for the disabled, participants and invalids Wars, veterans of military operations, as well as some other categories of citizens are provided according to the established procedure by domestic legislation.
