Contraindications

Dosing regimen

Adverse Reactions
When using the drug "Calcium Gluconate" intravenously, there is nausea, bradycardia, diarrhea, vomiting. Probably a sensation of heat, burning in the mouth. With rapid administration, pressure decreases, arrhythmia develops, cardiac arrest is likely, fainting.

When an overdose occurs hypercalcemia. As a therapy, parenterally, Calcitonin is administered at 5-10 IU / kg per day diluted in 500 ml NaCl (0.9%). The duration of administration is six hours.
