The term culture and its meaning

The very concept of culture can not be described as a separate object. This is a completely abstract meaning, which is the designation of various aspects of social relations, the nature of man and his way of life. The term "culture" has several meanings. Most often it began to be used from the beginning of the twentieth century. For this, many different prerequisites have arisen.

First of all, it was necessary to systematize many factors that characterized cultural values and norms, certain aspects of public life. In the modern world the concept of culture has different meanings. Widely used it found in the designation of the level of behavior of people. Here the term "culture" is of value. It is connected with such qualities as reliability, consciousness, accuracy, etc.

This term is also associated with certain life styles. For example, urban life, the level of education, upbringing. Also here include the ability to understand art, literature, the availability of philosophical knowledge and other skills.

So the term "culture" is characterized by some sources.

Initially (in antiquity), he denoted the methods of cultivation of land and agriculture in general. With the improvement of skills, the improvement of living standards and the development of social relations, the growth of cultural values also took place. This concept is associated with the activity of a person aimed at creation. This is the material side.

Then this value was used to indicate the level of education, education or education. In this case, culture acquires a spiritual side. All its directions are interrelated.

We can distinguish the main properties of culture:

First, it is necessarily connected with human activity and is subject to social laws. It has its own laws for it.

Secondly, the object and subject of culture is a person.

The main functions of culture consist in the transformation of society, raising its level of education. Culture also has aesthetic significance. Its components instill in people the concept of fine and high art.

Culture can be called a keeper of centuries of knowledge, experience, tools and other consequences of people's activities that accumulate from generation to generation. This is not only the activity itself, but also the relationships that arise as a result of its implementation. This includes economic, political, moral and other factors.
