The structure of the thesis and the basic requirements. Rules for writing course work (for students of psychological and pedagogical specialties)

Written works are an integral part of any educational process in the university in the preparation of psychological and pedagogical personnel. Therefore, the student must know the mandatory requirements for writing a course, as well as what the structure of the thesis. Let's try to highlight the main thing.

First, we clearly formulate the rules for writing the course work .

First, the volume of it should be no more than 50 pages of a printed test.

Secondly, the basic "skeleton" of course should be the same as the structure of the thesis. It necessarily includes: title page, content with pages, main chapters with conclusions, conclusion, list of literature and applications.

Thirdly, in course work there must be two chapters - theoretical and practical.

Fourth, the course work on psychological and pedagogical disciplines implies the existence of an experiment (ascertaining or forming).

Fifth, the number of respondents should be at least 25 people. Only in this case the obtained experimental data can be considered reliable.

Sixthly, in the course work on the psychological and pedagogical disciplines in the processing of the data obtained must necessarily apply methods of mathematical statistics. Only in this case the experiment is considered complete, justified and confirming the hypothesis.

Seventh, the application and the list of literature are drawn up in accordance with the requirements of a particular educational institution.

Now let us dwell in more detail on what the structure of the thesis work should be.

First, the title page is drawn up in accordance with the sample and requirements that are available from the educational institution.

Secondly, the amount of work - no more than a hundred sheets of computer text, in which sixty percent is devoted to the theoretical part, and forty - practical.

Third, the content of the diploma must include the following sections: introduction, theoretical and practical chapters, a chapter describing methodological recommendations or a psychological and pedagogical correctional program, conclusion, list of literature and applications (they are not included in the main volume of the thesis).

Fourth, the structure of the thesis work should not change.

Fifth, the introduction must necessarily contain scientific information about the work. It is about the relevance, the problem and the methodological foundations of the study, the object, the subject, the goal, the tasks, the hypothesis. In addition, it is necessary to describe the methods, methodologies, and the basis for the study. Also should be formulated: scientific novelty, practical significance and provisions to be defended. Introduction - this is one of the main parts, which is the presentation of the thesis.

Sixthly, in the first part, the methodological foundations of a thesis study are presented. The analysis of the literature should be conducted systematically, and the data are presented in a generalized form. The allocation of paragraphs is mandatory. It is forbidden to write down quotations from the source verbatim without specifying its name and page number. This information is indicated in parentheses, in the form of footnotes.

Seventh, the second part should describe in detail the experiment with the identification of goals, objectives, research bases, and methods. Results are necessarily stated. But the text of the thesis describes only the analysis of the data received, the forms and calculations are sent to the application.

Eighth, the third chapter should offer methodological recommendations or a program of psychological and pedagogical correction. It must be compiled on the basis of the data that was obtained.

Work done in violation of these rules will not be accepted for protection.
