Therefore, the most popular goddess of beauty Lada enjoyed by young couples who brought her gifts of berries, flowers, honey and live birds. Lada also patronized young mothers and their children. She was very fond of the Slavic people. Often holidays were organized in her honor. The Slavs believed that the goddess listened to all requests and tried to fulfill them, so they called her tenderly Shedryna.

The Scandinavian goddess of beauty Freya is so fond of the people that she was dedicated to one weekday - Friday. No wonder in translation from German this day is called Freitag. This day, according to legends, is favorable for marriages, love affairs and peace negotiations. Freya was also revered as the patroness of an armistice and family warmth.

But in Ireland, the goddess of beauty and love was portrayed as a tender, fragile, slender, incredibly beautiful woman, dressed in a silver dress with flowers in her hair. Even the cause of the Trojan War, the Greeks saw in Aphrodite, who sent spells on Paris, after which he fell in love with Elena.

The Greeks had a rather peculiar concept of beauty: a strong elastic body, large facial features, huge body parts - it was considered beautiful. This was depicted and Aphrodite.

The goddesses of beauty of each people are, in their own way, delicious. All peoples carefully treated the feelings of love, family relationships and the upbringing of children, and therefore valued their goddesses very highly.
