The art of tattooing came to us from ancient times, when every sign applied to the body had its own meaning. Significantly later, special devices were used for tattooing, which made it possible to simplify this process.

At the same time, the functions of the razor were quite often preserved, which was considered a real art.

It is also worth noting that it is much easier to manufacture and has proven itself in long-term work.

Having identified with the motor, it is necessary to tackle the stitching part. To do this, disassemble the rod of the ballpoint pen and rinses well. After this, it is necessary to prepare the needle. Usual tattoo machine with their own hands instead of a needle uses a guitar string, which is sharpened at the end, and then inserted into the rod of the handle. In this case, the sharp end of the string should come out from the beginning of the rod, pushing out the ball. In this way we get a freely moving needle in the rod, which we put into the handle. And the reverse end of the string should remain free.

At this stage, a part of the ballpoint pen is cut off together with the rod, and this is done solely from the personal preferences of the tattoo artist. After that, attach the cut off handle to the motor housing with the help of an adhesive tape.

Next, a small flat piece of cork, cut in the form of a circle, is fixed to the motor rotor. If there is no plug, then you can use an eraser or even melt the trimming of the handle. Then we recede from the outer diameter of the circle about a millimeter and make one hole, into which we insert the reverse end of the string, bent under 90 degrees. In this case, the string should rotate freely in the hole, and with the engine running, it must perform translational motion in the rod.
