Tanakan, the instruction indicates, is released in two dosage forms:
In the form of tablets, each containing 40 mg of active ingredient - an extract of a dry ginkgo biloba plant; In the form of a solution intended for oral administration (in a 100 ml bottle contains 4 g of active ingredient - an extract of ginkgo leaves bilobate).

Tanakan belongs to the clinico-pharmacological group of phytopreparations improving the function of small and large circulation.
Pharmacological action of the drug is based on the ability of flavonol glycosides and ginkgolides-bilobalides to influence the metabolic processes of substances inside cells, alter the rheological properties of blood, and improve the vasomotorics of blood vessels.

Tablets "Tanakan" and a solution of the extract of leaves of ginkgo bilobate improve the supply of oxygen and glucose to both hemispheres of the brain, increase the tone of blood vessels, improve the circulation of blood in the capillaries. Blood flow is normalized by reducing the aggregation of erythrocytes and the activation of platelets. The drug has an antioxidant effect. Normalizes the work of neurotransmitters.

The drug is recommended to appoint:

  • With cognitive and neurosensory deficiency of various genesis (except Alzheimer's disease and dementia);
  • With intermittent claudication ;

To dispense the solution, a special device is included in the package. Before using the drug, the desired dose (1 ml) should be diluted with water (0.5 cup). The course of treatment is prescribed from 3 to 6 months.

Tablets "Tanakan" contain as an auxiliary component of lactose, therefore it is not recommended for patients with congenital galactosemia, lactase deficiency.
