Sukhoi Superjet 100 - civil "Drying"

Sukhoi Design Bureau is widely known both in the former Soviet Union and far beyond its borders for the development of military aircraft. And while the USSR existed, this enterprise had a clearly indicated direction. Within the framework of the Bureau, aircraft were developed, which, as was customary in the Union, received names consisting of the first letters of the designation of the design bureau and the model number. Su-27, Su-29 - the development of this enterprise.

In the 21st century, a new organization appeared within the bureau. Its name is slightly different from the "parent", but the specialization has changed dramatically. The company does not engage in military vehicles - only civil aviation is planned. And in 2008 the Sukhoi Superjet 100, a short- and medium-range single-deck liner, was introduced to the public. Serial production was established in the same year 2008 and is still in operation.

Description

The only Soviet passenger airline used exclusively domestic models: planes Ilyushin, Tupolev, Antonov. In the line of any of these enterprises were civil engineering, and some produced only passenger aircraft that were practical, easy to maintain, and, most importantly, quite cheap.

But even if you do not take into account the Soviet-era aircraft, you can call the Sukhoi Superjet 100 Russian a stretch. Yes, it became the first passenger aircraft created in Russia, but many foreign companies took part in the development. And Aeroflot, which became the main operator of this car, uses it in those cases when it is economically disadvantageous to launch big Boeing-type airbuses. The airplane accommodates 100 people (in the maximum modification), it is easily converted from two classes to one and is quite convenient both for the company and for passengers. For the sake of fairness it is worth noting that the developers are releasing the aircraft in terms of two classes - 12 seats in the first, the rest - in the economy.

Features

One of the interesting details that the Sukhoi Superjet 100 boasts is the layout of the saloon. The average traveler is used to the fact that two types of salons are used in passenger aviation: 9 seats in a row (3 sections of three seats each), as in the Boeing 747, or 6 seats (2 sections with three seats) Boeing-737 ". Here the economy class has 5 seats in a row, on the one side of the passage - the standard section in three chairs, on the other - in two.

Another peculiarity is that the liner uses parts and whole blocks from a lot of foreign companies, due to which it received the most modern aviation and other equipment. Among them, we can note a system that prevents the tail from touching the strip during take-off (landing) stages, even in the event of a pilot error.

Also, we attribute to the peculiarities the uniqueness of the new machine. According to experts, the Sukhoi Superjet 100 has little to do with the earlier development of civil aircraft.

Characteristics

Technical parameters are presented in the form of a list:

  • The power plant is represented by a pair of engines Sam146 - 1S17.
  • APU (auxiliary) - Honeywell RE220.
  • The cruising speed is 830 km / h.
  • The maximum is 860 km / h.
  • The ceiling is 12,200 m.
  • The range of flight is 3048 m.
  • The wingspan is 27.8 m.
  • Wing area - 77 square meters. M.
  • Capacity - 98 seats (+ 3 crew members - flight attendant and pilots).
  • Runway for take-off - not less than 1750 m, for landing - more than 1650 m.

It should be noted that after the release of the first version, the data of which are presented above, in 2013 the Sukhoi Superjet 100LR modification was developed - the aircraft with the increased flight range. With the exception of the more powerful engines (model 1S18), it was no different from the original car, but its range is 1000 km more. In addition, for the described version of the aircraft required a longer band for a set tear-off speed of 2000 m.

Interior layout

Now let's look at the best and worst places, as well as the overall layout of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 medium-haul liner. The interior layout is presented below.

The car has exits at the beginning and at the end of the fuselage (there are no emergency exits under the scheme above the wings), a kitchen located in the tail section, and a two-seater configuration.

The worst places, as in other liners, are located at the end of the cabin. Behind the backs is a partition separating the kitchen (D, E, F), and toilets (seats A, C), so the backs of the seats are fixed. Also up to the last row there can be smells. Some inconvenience will be for passengers flying in the first row of business class, as the main passenger doors lie ahead - during takeoff and landing these places can be used for luggage. And behind the partition there are toilets in front.

The best places can be called located in the 6th row - the first in the economy class. There are a lot of legroom here, the backs recline, and before you the partition - no one can turn your back on you. Some inconvenience can be felt by the passenger occupying the seat of 6D. Passages in the "business" and "economy" are shifted relative to each other.

An interesting feature of the layout is that neither in the "business" nor in the "economy" there are chairs V. And by tradition, by the porthole, C - by the aisle. It was mentioned above that the economy class received 5 seats in a row. For those who like to travel alone, this will be an undoubted plus.

Conclusion

Airliner Sukhoi Superjet 100, a photo of which was presented in this review, has become a convenient solution for flights over relatively short distances. On less busy routes, the carrier was able to use a less demanding machine for the resources. It can also be noted that the "Superjet" is a relatively new vessel with modern security and navigation systems.
