A state fee is a fee that is collected from persons who have applied for doing in themselves any significant legal acts to state or other bodies or to authorized officials. The list of payers of state duty is given in Article 333 of the Tax Code. Another category of payers is the defendants in court cases in the event of a court decision not in their favor and the release of the plaintiff from payment of the fee. There can be both private individuals and organizations.

Consider when and in what amount the state duty for the replacement of the passport is paid. This procedure - the receipt after 14 years of a civil passport and the subsequent replacement of it at 20 and 45 years - refers to public services, and throughout the life of it resorts to any of our compatriots. Passport is changed if the surname (name, patronymic) changes, appearance or gender, data about the date or place of birth,. And also in cases where errors are found in the passport data or the passport has become unusable (worn or damaged). In addition, the passport is to be replaced in case of theft or loss, in such cases, too, the state duty for the passport is charged.

For the procedure for replacing the passport of the Russian Federation you will be required to submit to the territorial office in person or through the MFC officials an application form 1P, an old (replacement) passport and the documents of the reason for such a replacement. The state duty for the passport must be paid in advance (this can be done at any branch of the Savings Bank) and the receipt for payment is attached to the documents. In addition to the documents on the basis of which a new passport will be issued (certificates of marriage or divorce, change of name in specified cases or change of place / date of birth), two photographs of the required sample and the documents necessary for entering the marks in the passport must be provided. This is a military ticket, a certificate of marriage or its termination, confirming the documents of registration at the place of residence, if there are children under 14 years old - their birth certificates. Only the person to whom it is issued (or his legal representative in case of incapacity) can receive a new passport. In the new passport, a note is made on the previously issued document indicating the series and number, place and date of issue.

When traveling abroad, you need to issue a passport. Now there are 2 options: get a regular passport (old sample) or biometric. The validity of the new biometric passport - 10 years (issued before March 2010 - 5 years), it contains a digital photograph, which is done on the spot when you issue the document. When you design both, you need exactly the same package of documents, the questionnaire also contains identical questions, only the form of its filling differs. On the biometric passport the questionnaire can not be filled by hand, only printed (necessarily in capital letters).
