In recent years, sales of station wagons in the CIS countries have fallen significantly. Nevertheless, the Czech company Skoda decided to take a risk and offer in our market an updated Superb model in the body of a liftback and a station wagon. Exterior

The previous generation of the car "Skoda Superb" (station wagon) was aimed at the older audience: solid exterior, soft outline of the body. But on the width of the salon has grown significantly: in the shoulders was added 26 mm, and at the elbows - 70 mm. At 15 mm, the space above the head also increased. Incidentally, the 1.4-liter engine in combination with the all-wheel drive does not attempt to disconnect the two cylinders, in the absence of load. This makes the character of the versatile person more accommodating. The softness of the clutch pedal does not prevent you from experiencing the setting moment. The gear lever is also very soft, it does not resist and does not click. Therefore, you need to get used to feel whether the transmission has turned on.

Ride modes are switched with one button. There are more than enough of them in "Superba": apart from sports and comfort there is also Normal, Eco and Individual. The latter allows the driver to independently assemble the character of the car from various parameters: the stiffness of the steering wheel, the sharpness of the pedal, the softness of the suspension, and so on.

The car with top engine - 2.0-liter unit, developing 220 horsepower, rides better in terms of dynamics, but worse in terms of stability. Apparently, she is not quite prepared for such a powerful motor. The first 100 km / h engine reaches 7.1 seconds.

Model "Skoda Superb" diesel station wagon is rather sluggish, because it is designed for an economical ride. At the same time, the car makes a lot of noise, which is not at all combined with a rich bundle. In the CIS countries, the emphasis is on gasoline wagons, despite the fact that the last generation of the "Superba" universal wagon was better sold in the diesel version. Competitors

Large universals in our market are now found only in the premium class.
