Rome: Total War. Passage, tactics and simple advice
To date, there is a relatively small number of strategies that would successfully combine elements of economics and management with a military component. It was one of the most famous and popular studios - Creative Assembly, which embodied all its ideas and dreams in a whole series of projects called Total War. This is truly one of the most epic game lines, giving the gamer the right to control an entire civilization and write history itself. One such game is Rome: Total War. The passage of this particular part will be considered in this article.
Process Compatibility
What is attractive about this project is its versatility. In the process, the player will independently manage the economic and political systems, carry out espionage, subversive activities, lead an entire army, make a siege and storm of cities, defend the lands and many other interesting things. In Rome: Total War, the passage is based on a holistic interaction of all the above features and functions. That is, for example, without economic superiority, few can be defeated, because the maintenance of a huge army needs fabulous funds. At the same time, without the army, it is impossible to defend the native lands and seize new ones. Obviously, in the game Rome: Total War, the passage of which is based on significant historical events, it will be necessary to pay attention to all aspects in order to gain the upper hand over the enemy and subsequently win.
Tactical advice
The more hours a user will spend in the world of Total War, the more opportunities and tactical maneuvers will open up to his eyes. For example, in the defense of any narrow passageways (bridges or approaches to the city), it is recommended that soldiers be given a tactical formation called "phalanx", with which no enemy can pass to the other side. In this case, only elite cavalry detachments or several dozen archers can seriously threaten the defenders. The latter can never be left without protection, otherwise they will be scattered in the wind in a few minutes. But to shoot them in the thick of events, where not only enemy, but also allied troops are present, is also illogical. The whole army needs to be thought out and logically justified (for example, archers are much more convenient to keep somewhere on the hill).
