Raspberry wine: a recipe for a fragrant alcoholic beverage

Raspberry wine, the recipe of which will be considered below, has a rather pronounced flavor, as well as a rich color. In the process of aging such an alcoholic beverage, it is well clarified and becomes suitable for consumption in the same year as it was made.

From this tasty and juicy berries, dessert or liqueur soft drinks are usually made. Dry raspberry wine, the recipe of which is quite simple, has slightly worse characteristics, in contrast to its sweet analogue. In this regard, of these juicy fruits are most often made light dessert drinks, which are distinguished by a special flavor and taste.

Before showing you a detailed recipe for crimson wine, it should be noted that for this alcoholic beverage, only red berries must be used. After all, yellow and white raspberries are not suitable for winemaking. In addition, such a fragrant wine should be made only from mature berries, which without any effort are separated from the pedicels.

Raspberry wine: a recipe for an alcoholic beverage

Necessary ingredients:

  • Filtered drinking water - 4 liters;
  • Raspberry ripe red - 4 kg;
  • Granulated sugar - 1,3 kg.

The processing of the main ingredient

Raspberry wine, the recipe of which we will consider in this article, should be done only from freshly harvested fruit. It is worth mentioning that if you picked berries in advance, they should be immediately sorted out (not to be washed in any case) and stored in the refrigerator for no more than 2 days.

Thus, raspberries should be crushed with the help of stupa, and then squeeze out the juice obtained. It is allowed to mix with the juice of other fresh berries. However, we will not do this, as we create a pure alcoholic beverage from raspberries.

How to Make Raspberry Wine

Squeezed juice from crimson pulp should be placed in a 10 liter glass container. After that, in a clean pan you need to pour 4 liters of filtered (you can spring) water, which you want to boil. Further in the hot liquid should be poured 1.3 kg of granulated sugar, after which it is desirable to boil the syrup for about 8-10 minutes. At the end of time, the sweet broth should be removed from the plate and allowed to cool to room temperature. After that, the syrup must be poured into a fermentation glass container, where freshly squeezed raspberry juice was previously placed.

The dishes with the future wine should be closed with a stopper with a hydraulic shutter. If you do not use such a special lid and leave a container with an open neck, then instead of an alcoholic drink, you will most likely get raspberry vinegar.

Fermentation of juice should last 3-5 days. After that, the wine should be poured into another container, leaving a deposit on the bottom, and to sustain in the heat for 2-3 more days. Next, the dishes should be placed in a cool room for 1-2 months. Then the young wine should be poured on clean liter bottles, stoppered and put in a cellar, and horizontally. You can consume such an alcoholic drink in the year of manufacture, that is without special aging.
