Public relations

People, being in a society, constantly interact with each other. Due to this process they solve various kinds of tasks, determine prospects, extract necessary things, objects, information. Public relations is a complex phenomenon that is studied by various sciences.

Everything is based on social ties. By this term is understood the interdependence of people, which is due to certain provisions. On the basis of its individuals are united in a community. Social relations are a kind of social ties.

The nature of society determines the specifics of this kind of relations, they, in turn, support society, ensure its stability, development and prosperity.

Public relations are specific interactions that are regulated by various social norms. They arise between two or more people who play a certain social role, have some social position. They also arise between groups of people, between a person and a group.

Sociologists came to the conclusion that it is precisely these relations that are the most developed form of the phenomena they study. Social behavior, social action and interaction are much inferior to them.

In general, we note that different scientists describe the nature of social relations in different ways. A single definition, which would suit all, does not exist until now.

For some, social relations are those that have developed between people in specific historical conditions, at a particular time, in a certain place. For others, they are phenomena that arise from the comparison of equality and superiority of their subjects. In this case, much emphasis is placed on social justice, the distribution of material and spiritual values, the means of production, and so on.

Types of social relations are different. They can be class, ethnic, group, interpersonal, national. They are formed in different spheres of life.

Public interaction can be expressed in various forms. One of them is cooperation. It is specific in that both sides are in mutually beneficial terms. None of them is infringed in the interests. Joint actions are aimed at achieving the result as soon as possible, which will be considered common. Such kind of social relations are built on mutual need of each other, coordination of actions and, as a rule, on respect for each other.

Rivalry is another form of social interaction. It is connected with the aspiration of the parties to get around each other, achieve a greater result, move forward faster than someone else. In this case, there is no common goal, but it is important that all parties pursue similar goals. Without this condition of rivalry, there can be no question. In this process, the parties consider the positions of competitors as obstacles in their path. Long-term rivalry can lead to the emergence in people of negative emotions, hatred, hidden or open aggression.

Competition is a group or individual struggle for some specific goods that are classified as scarce. Conflict is understood as a special interaction of participants in public relations, in which there is a clash of views, opinions, interests, and so on. Conflict can quickly spoil the relationship.

Social relations only become public when there is a certain stability. Over time, they change. Because of this, their research and study never ceases. Managing public relations without understanding them is impossible.
