Porcelain vases: description of accessories

Vases adorn the interior for a very long time. The first products appeared when the person learned to handle clay, and later - and with other materials. Unfortunately, the exact date is unknown, but different in decor, color and vase materials appeared in China and Ancient Greece. The most ancient products, which were discovered during excavations, date back to the 3rd millennium BC. Porcelain vases first appeared in China in about 4-6 centuries, and since then they decorate houses.

Forms of vases

Since the beginning of the production of these items, they have greatly changed. The first products were made in the form of an elongated vessel. Over time, they began to produce different, sometimes even unusual forms. Popularity was gained by vessels and vases with a wide middle, narrowed to the neck. This shape allowed to contain more liquid and provided its better safety. Some masters put their products on their legs and made them handles. This made it easier to use objects with larger sizes. Also, their neck was made in the form of a flower or a lace. It also became an additional decoration and simplified their use.

Manufacturers of vases produced vessels different and dissimilar to each other. Their imagination allowed them to create masterpieces, which people very willingly bought. Also over time, the masters have established serial production. Such vases did not differ in special forms, but had a lower price compared to products of individual production.

Materials

The first vessels were made of clay. In the future, masters began to use other materials.

These include:

  • tree;
  • porcelain;
  • plastic;
  • metal;
  • crystal;
  • glass.

The variety of materials allowed to improve the strength of products and their appearance. Porcelain vases are very fragile, but tempered glass made it possible to make the vessels stronger. The use of plastic and metal makes vases unbreakable and allows them to serve much longer. This also gives the opportunity to give them a variety of forms, sometimes the vases from such materials look very unusual and intricate.

Vessels that are made of metal, usually covered with a layer of gold or silver, this gives them an unusual appearance, the accessory serves as an ornament to any table.

Color Scales and Drawings

The very first products were not painted and did not have drawings, but over time they began to decorate. Colored vases were very popular and were in demand among buyers. The masters tried to make the vessel bright and beautiful, so that it could become an ornament of any house and make the eyes happy.

Porcelain vases with the image of flowers and animals became popular. The artists painted them so qualitatively that it seemed that if the breeze blows, the petals of the flowers would begin to sway.

Also, the masters learned to give the vase itself different colors. They made them white, red, blue, green, scarlet and so on. This allowed them to make them very bright, and in combination with the drawings they turned into real works of art.

Modern vases

Chinese vases in the modern world continue to be popular with buyers. Masters use different materials for making vases. Basically all production is put on the conveyor, therefore the prices for them are low. However, some craftsmen produce individual handmade vessels.

Now you can buy porcelain vases of any shape and color. Such items can decorate not only housing, but also office space, cafes, restaurants and even hotels.

Any vessel made of porcelain, glass or other materials is often a work of art. Vases are able to transform and decorate any interior. With their help, you can focus on a certain area in the room and attract the views of people.
