Petar Brzica and the genocide of the Serbian people

The genocide of the Serbs is another sad consequence of the Second World War. Thousands of innocent people died because of the "wrong blood" flowing in their veins. However, the most frightening thing is that they were killed like wild animals, without tears and regret. There were even those who happily brought the knife to the throat of prisoners.

It is about such a person will be discussed below. About that monster that called itself the savior of the Croatian people, about a monster named Petar Brzica.

Prehistory

Any story, even the most eerie, has its beginning. In our case, all the threads lead to the time when Germany lost the First World War. It was during this period that Yugoslavia is formed - the united kingdom of Slovenes, Serbs and Croats. An important detail is that the latter entered voluntarily into this confederation.

Over the years, Serbian politicians outnumbered the rest. This led to the fact that all problems in the country began to be associated with their inept government. In addition, the Croats constantly felt that their rights were being infringed. On this basis racial dislike arose, which eventually turned into overwhelming hatred.

Ustashi, or "insurgent" Croats

The fragile peace in Yugoslavia stood by a thread. All over the world there were organizations that insisted that one nation was superior to something else. There were among them those who were ready to sacrifice general tranquility for their own good.

In this case we are talking about the criminal Croatian Ustasha group. It was in it was the future executioner of the Serbian people Petar Brzica. True, initially this structure did not plan mass killings. Their main goal was Croatia's independence, and everything else did not bother them.

Founded this organization in 1931 Ante Paulic. Historians describe him as a despotic religious tyrant who does not recognize the opinions of others. It was this man who created a grouping of monsters, which will later arrange the genocide of the Serbs. Although before the Second World War the Ustasha was not a serious threat to the inhabitants of Yugoslavia. Their only triumph was the assassination of the Yugoslav King Alexander in October 1934.

Under the aegis of Hitler

The Second World War in Croatia began with the support of some nationalist organizations in support of the Nazis. In 1940 Ante Pavelic concludes a secret treaty with Hitler and Mussolini. According to him, the Ustasha fully assist the Nazis, and in return they recognize the existence of the Independent Croatian state.

This union gave rise to a terrifying political system built on tyranny and blind worship to the leader. According to her, people were divided into two types: Aryans and nonhumans. At the same time, the Ustashi considered themselves to be purebred Aryans. Soon Ante Pavelic publishes a set of laws that at the constitutional level deprive Serbs, Jews and Gypsies of all rights and protections. Then the bloody persecution of these peoples begins.

Petar Brzica is a beast in human form

Like all the Ustashi, Brzica was a thoroughbred Croat, at least, according to official records. He was born in 1917, so he can rightly be considered the same age as Yugoslavia. True, Petar himself hated this country. It is difficult to say what was the reason, but most likely, the seed of discord appeared in his heart as early as in his youth.

After all, while studying at the Franciscan College, Petar Brzica supported nationalist ideas. He even joined the Grand Order of the Crusaders, in order to defend the rights of his people. But their empty ranting, not backed up by deeds, quickly disappointed the young man.

Therefore, soon he finds a new home - an organization that can change the destiny of an entire country. Since that day the Croat has become the faithful dog of Ante Pavelitch, ready to rip anyone off under the first order. Therefore it is not surprising that with the advent of World War II, the guy is sent to a special place - in the concentration camp of Jasenovac.

Bloody record

The place of the concentration camp officer was ideally suited for Petar Brzica. Not having moral principles, he easily sent men, women and children to death. In fact, this place was a bloodbath, which has no analogues in history. Their cynicism came to the point that they argued about who would kill more prisoners of war.

The undefeated record holder was Petar Brzica. Once upon a special decree of Paulic, he killed 1360 people per night. Then the jubilant mob of executioners screamed "Petar Brzica - Petar the Ripper. No Croats are faster than you. " In addition, for the victory in the bloody contest, he received a gift from the very leader of the nation - gold name hours. This very thing, in their opinion, was equivalent to the lives of thousands of people.

Falling Mode

Unfortunately, despite all the sins of Brzica, fate was supportive of him. For example, one day a Croatian soldier was left alone with the captives, and they pushed him to the ground. In ten minutes they beat him to death, but Yasenovatsky the Ripper still survived and soon brutally avenged his abusers.

Even greater luck awaited Petar after the fall of the Independent Croatian state. While all his companions were chattering on the gallows, he secretly sailed on a ship in the United States. Here he was taken under the control of the local police, but because of political differences, the American authorities refused to give them a prisoner.

As a result, in the late 70's traces of Brzica finally lost. And, according to unofficial sources, Petar the Ripper lived to a very old age and died his own death in 2007.
